Thanks Doctor Jov, very intresting, yep your right about everything. But as you finished off on another on another planet different solar system who knows?

The universe is vast, out of billions of planets with life, there could be a thinking moving Plant called 'Jov'  :)

Keep your creatures safe ,watch out for my creature eating, intellagent mobile plants, comming to a planet near you.

I pick my name because no one else had  :)

I am not ba bad at building 3d stuff and I have use the most popular 3d Programes, belive me from what I have seen on Spore's editors it should be a matter of dropping and dragging stuff be build a creature, dont worry  it will be very easy.

We I have a couple of brain box's here. Here is my reply to the intellagent plant life topic.

The reason I belive plants could become sapient / technology building creatues are:-

Plants are extreamy diverse, just as much as any animals, some are very hardy, and can survive enviroment where animals carnt.
Its not about energy, but evolving the need to think. If a plant was extreamly poisonous, then no animals would eat it, all the plants would have to do is develop a better way of gaining food, (Trapping animals), when the plant was very suscesful at this, and it was a very common on a planet, there would be the time and probbability ( extreamly small) that a plant could develop intelagene, i.e. if a plant opened it leaves at a certen time of day, more animals dropped dung around the plant more often. (Dont ask me why) The plant would have the option of learning when the best time to open there leaves, for this they would need some form of memory.

If plants learnt or have very crude memory system, then its possable that they could learn what enviroment / season would be the best time to reproduce, i.e. descovering that ground with pebbles on soft soil was the best growth meduim, plants might selectivley reproduce on that enviroment, also it some plants could evolve roots that covered these pebbles, and when they dryed they pulled the pebbles closer to the plant, the result improved the growth/health of the plant, they could dillibretly and selectivley on reproduce with other plants that had this ability. eventually plant would evovle roots that could move objects close to it.
Its improbble but not impossable.

Given perfect enviroment (a challanging one) and a large amount of time, any animal (and possably plants) would probbly develop intellagence.

Not in my world. I want to build the biggest creature possable, just to see if it can survive.

Wow, what a lot of intressting stuff. Your probbly right with plants evolving intelagence, but when your decribe a large animal that could photosynthesise isnt that a plant? Like you have said what about a plant/animal hybrid?

Intersting, but consider this, if you evolved body tools why develop intellagene therfore technology?

I have got to say you have done some very good research or your a very bright person. Either way, well done. You have have done a very good job, but considering the size of the universe I can safey say there will be plants that can move and think. How well I dont know.
