I love orcs, I dont care if NPC's hate me in the world of Tamriel or think im a beast. Mainly because I will be a beast indeed. You look at me wrong and you die.

But yeah, im hoping the heavy armor penalty won't be too severe...

My goal to my Orc Dragon Knight is to be able to do some decent damage spell wise, absorb a lot of damage, and still do a lot of damage with my hammers.

This time tomorrow we will all be playing Oblivion, many of you will play before me.... have some good adventures, im sure there will be a TON of threads that pop up. :)

You can be an Amazon, though.

I changed my mind, the newest commercials look pretty good. The monsters actually look pretty scary at parts. I will probably see it based upon the glimpses I saw of parts.

If I were to choose a game to be turned into a movie it would be Diablo, hands down. Given some good funding, and given they keep the story in line with the games, it would be completely do-able in my eyes. They would definately need to do it with 2 main characters, much like The LOTR trilogy did, splitting back and forth between different sequences for each of the characters. Then, when it comes close to the end, have them meet in dramatic fashion, joining up to take down Meph/Baal/Diablo. It would be just 2 characters, or maybe 2 pair, to try and cover some of the classes. Like maybe Amazon/Barb and Paladin/Sorcerer.

Horde all the way.

What does the Alliance have? Two types of midgets, a bunch of silly elves (Night Elves are pansies and I don't side with pansies), and your bland run-of-the-mill humans.

The Horde just has so much more personality going for it. =)

Agreed. I played a human pally to level 30, so bland. Not much fun after a while, at least to me.
I would absolutely laugh at a guy if you walked up to him irl and asked him what he played. To hear him say, "Oh, I have a level 60 gnome warrior." and be serious about it would just be too damn funny to me. Same with Night Elf.

But yeah, I truly miss the days of when the game just came out. The first few months on the PVP realms will always be such a fond fond memory, such great times exploring and getting together on those mini raids. Where you would actually fight in STV, or in Booty Bay, and not have to worry about tier1 level 60's dismounting and playing with you.

I love the movie "Legend". It is included on my list of favorite movies in that thread.

My favorite line in the whole movie, is by the goblin, when he has the horn and is lighting the house on fire and he's like, "Fire, fire, burning higher, making music like a choir!! Grahaha!"

Or something like that, I need to watch it again, its been a few years.

Yeah im just full of BS about them being wussy. We will see how they stand up to my Orc DragonKnight in Tamriel, odds are they will die, and I will walk ;)

http://www.oblivionmods.info/?Draxx&Dragon%20Knight&0&4&12&1&1&6&3&4&5&15&18&19&20

That's going to be my first character, dont have photoshop otherwise id make a neat little picture.

If you actually look at it, im caught up between either going magic spec or combat spec. Going magic spec really balances the beginning skillset out at about 35, when going combat makes my guy more combat specced than magic, roughly 45 endurance / 25 willpower skills. As far as not having any points in blades, Id rather have restoration up considerably when I begin, I will level up blades manually. Depends on what I find and like I suppose ;)

It's going to be ready at gamestop on the 21st, at least it better be, because im going to be there when they open.

At least you dont gotto work noon-10pm.... like me  :'(

Gamestop opens at 10am here, so im going to be there at 10, or maybe a little later, hopefully theres no line so im in and out and can get home and make me my Orc Dragon Knight before my shift. That's going to be such a long day, at least you get off work at a reasonable time and get plenty time to play that evening ;)

But yeah, I will get little sleep the next 2 weeks, since its coming out and I only have 2 days off, basically.

Personally...

I will read the reviews from a few sources ive found to trust and have a similar "taste" as me. However I do not listen to how they rate it, typically. I like to look for certain parts of the review, like how well the physics in the game look and feel, and how well their used, and how they may compare, for example. I try to stay away from seemingly more biased reviews, and I like to read reader reviews and ask other friends/people about it. The more sources, the better. If I can get a free demo first, its even better. The major factor, something I always do before I purchase a game is that I will head over to IGN and download video previews/reviews/interviews. After reading about it from multiple sources, and viewing it in action, then im typically ready to purchase.

My personal taste is very current games, I like to get them new, within months after their released. Im a very very impatient person. If I see a preview on a game that  seems interesting, I read as much into it as I possibly can, then proceed to keep an eye on it. Money is always a factor, but frankly I love games, its one of my few hobbies, so ill always have some money for a game ive been watching out for.

Most recently I paid 60 bucks for Fight Night Rd:3 and it was very much worth it to me. Was weird because I read very little into it, I just acted on instinct when the clerk asked me which game I wanted with my brand new 360. So let me tell you, I was never a boxing fan before, but just tonight as I ate at Chili's I found myself watching it, and liking it very much so :o. I bought Call of Duty2 also, and was majorly let down in the multiplayer over xbox live. So yeah, I fell for the hype. Im just too used to my thousands of hours behind this computer monitor playing HL and a ton of the mods, as with HL2. I probably will not buy another shooter for the x360. Well, maybe Prey. ;)

But honestly, people, some of your ideas are seriously outta whack. What you have against unicorns?  :-\

Because theyre fluffy and sissy. Same with horses. Both are something you'd decorate your newborn daughters walls with.

It's not absurd enough to be an April Fool's prank.

Agreed. Especially from Game Informer. Those guys can get pretty crazy.

What if you went back in a time, roughly a year ago, and broke Steve's computer and equipment, so he couldn't do his podcasts and made this website...

Then we wouldn't even be talking about this right now.
