It's located in the same spot where you would name, describe, tag a creation in any editor. On the bottom middle.

I meant the visual filters that you type in the cheat to activate in game. "Film Noir" and "Oil Paint".

Okay, it's a cheat. Ctrl+Shift+C to open the console. Then type: adventurelook -[effect]

to get a list of available effects, type: help adventureLook

Also. You can totally disguise a game object as a vehicle, which answers my previous question of how to make a UFO sit on the ground.

Yah. The limitations are a bit annoying. But we're still given plenty of tools to make fun mini-games. Dialogue webs would be sweet, though. There's a lot of emphasis on the visual content. Which is a lot of work. You could do a pretty compelling mini game based on a single conversation with more options, if we had them.

Anyways... I can't find where to add the photofilters to a mission.

Thanks, Hydro. There are at least three more missions I plan for Boralus. The first will explore the Borarks religion and the legend of the "Marooned". The other dealing with their industry. And the third being a pack hunt. Hopefully by then the planet will be relatively full.

Spore: Sporepedia Exchange / Boralus is here! (Well, at least part 1)

It's late, so I'll keep this brief and edit this post later when I have more stuff up.

First if all, I'm posting my creations through a new user name, "Bone Mosten". There's a reason for this. I'll explain later. For the time being, if you want to follow my stuff you should buddy that user name instead of "Bonemouse".

So after what feels like weeks tweaking my adventure Welcome to Boralus is finally done. There will be a sequel or two (ran out of acts). In the mean time, I'd love feedback. Positive or negative. It's fairly easy and straight forward, I hope.

Find it here.

Duuuuude... You're a mission making machine. You're making them faster then I can play them.  :o

That did the trick. If you play the 100 point Maxis made adventures (Adventure Town, space stage intro level, Romeo and Juliet and the Priest escort) you'll have at least two items under your belt and be well on your way to a 3rd.

Okay. I don't currently have a space phase creature, so I've been playing the quick play missions. And I can't even come close to beating some of them. My captain, doesn't have any captain parts yet (need to earn them first), but I did make a creature with max bite, strike, sprint, bash and health. And still, I die. GRawr!

is there a way to make a spaceship or air vehicle not floating? Like have it on the ground. Or do I have to make a building that looks like a spaceship?

I noticed ;D (I lurk). Definitely going to grab them tonight or tomorrow. As well as the Naucean's homeworld.

I'm not sure if I'm going to use the Nauceans in Boralus. But I do want a Baobas recruiting a some Borark's to work in their prison.

I just got Galactic Adventures and I'm just wondering how many people have it yet. I've only just installed it and im allready having fun. So how many peeps have it and will I soon see your adventures?

I have it. And so far I'm feeling very positive about it. I haven't had much time to play with it and when I loaded up my universe, I realized I had deleted all my saved games (doh!) So I've only been playing the quickplay missions (Maxis mades and Prison Escape so far (I can't get Parkaboy's mission to load through quickplay, for some reason.))

I've tooled around with the editor a bit. Mostly just testing out different things. Honestly, I don't know if I'll ever be happy enough with an adventure to publish it.

I started making Boralus (Borark homeworld) last night and I have some ideas... But the amount of content needed is daunting. Plus, since I reinstalled Spore on a new computer AND all my old Boralus creatures were purged from the database, I'm now having to start from scratch in re-creating them all -- which isn't such a bad thing with access to the CC/Exo parts.

Sorta off-topic but I just read about the latest patch "Issue" for coming out for City of Heroes/Villains. The main feature: A mission editor.

Oh thank god for the object editor. I was not looking forward to running into cities made up of props for...

Nevermind, that isn't an editor. :(

Well, no, but Photoshop also costs 700 bucks. And Maya is, what? 2000 bucks? The problem is that this feature would only appeal to a very niche market (people who own Maya and want to make Spore fan art/not going to us it to make commercial work) and it probably wouldn't be worth it to justify the cost of dealing with IP rights and such.

I'm sure installing GA will patch people's games up so they have the exo limbs.

And because I want to be that guy. The Wrath of the Lich King expansion pack requires Burning Crusade expansion pack.
