But how could host-living creatures create cultures and civilizations?

I'd like to make a race that infests the enemy(much like in alien)
I'm not sure if the game would allow that, but it (parasitic races) may be implemented somehow.
Well...there will be cross-breeding why not infestation?

Has there been any words on different looks for males and females?

You could have humans, humans who lay eggs. Like in the Mario Bro.'s movie, now let us never speak of it again. He made a Care Bear, I'm about 99% sure Care Bears don't lay eggs. I think they're born in sun-beams and jars of honey or something.
Humans laying eggs... :-\
That sounds pretty disturbing.
But since we won't see any difference between male and female(if there even is different sexes)I wouldn't make a human.

Didn't the demo three-legged creature outrun a crab-thing?
I guess the engine can handle simple things like speed.

I wonder if there will be natural disasters? There you are, hanging out, munching some grass, ogling the three legged tentacled hunney over by the watering hole (I wonder if she's with someone?...maybe she's bait for a predator? Hmmmmm), when BLAAAMM, you get hit by a satellite! You go from working your way up the food chain, to a crater.
I mean, this IS the guy who puts natural disasters into his simcity games, why shouldn't there be random ones in this game? Probally even som you can make happen, test out the hardiness of your species, see how the ecosystem you've painstakingly built up fares through a nuclear winter.
There hasn't been any word on that. But i like the idea of having my creatures life end in an instant :P

I hope there's no real limit to how big the world you're playing in can become.
I'd rather have one massive world then a number of smaller ones.

I was wondering about reproduction, does EVERYTHING lay eggs? From what I've seen I'd guess so. I suppose Will Wright decided on that cause it's less messy.
I guess I won't be able to create humans then...

Will we be able to have advanced underwater civilizations?

There will probably be a sandbox-mode where you can cheat while the "online-mode" will be without cheats.
