Books / Re: What are you reading?
« on: March 29, 2011, 05:46:24 pm »
I just finished A Clockwork Orange and The Gone Away World. I will recommend both books to any person who needs something to read or even wants something to read. Although The Gone Away World by Nick Harkaway is a bit of a challenging read because the beginning is rather slow.

I personally love the Halo series but I just think Reach is over rated. Don't get me wrong, I love the games but It's just another Halo game. Shoot elites and grunts, get from point A to point B without dieing. press a switch and your done. Then drive away before the time runs out or your exploded all over the universe... again... Sure the graphics got better but other than forge world and the new multi-player updates the story is better in the book form rather than the game. I know I'm going to get a lot of people hating me for this but this is how I think. I won't have the game for another couple months once the hype dies down.

Devices and Desires. Very very good read so far, although on the thick side. 633 pages and it's one of three. I'm 2 chapters in and it's already had 4 deaths of random people and one of an important person!

All of my sandwiches contained poison except for Dr. Octagonapus'. You all die in horrible horrible ways.

My hill.

Granted, the world turns into the book Brave New World. Except you still don't have sex.

I wish that that I could fly without any obvious mechanism or device

I wish for something, surprise me.
