He was alright in Brokeback. No James Dean, which is where he'll probably be eventually propped up too.

But you fail to grasp that illegals work the jobs that Americans won't.The lower educated workforce you refer to have countless advantages over the illegals; documentation and grasp of English, for example. Illegals aren't showing up in your cubicle one day; they're picking up your trash off the ground, stooping and raking in the hot sun to pile your food into trucks. They aren't taking jobs traditionally held by Americans; it has always been the 'immigrant workforce' that fulfills these roles, and will be for a long time.
They make up a major demographic in our work force and it would be devastating to remove them. Any unemployed American who can't get a job better than that is, quite frankly, either incapacitated or undeserving.
Having worked with, tutored, played with and learnt from from both "illegals and legals" all my life I can tell you with a straight face that there is no inherent difference. They all come for the same reasons, some just come under different circumstances. The belief that there is a difference, and that a wall will be able to solve it, is wrong on many different levels.

A hell of a mafia player. Knows a thing or two about politics. Cannot hear without special headphones and belt-borne receiver.

I'm going to ignore your blatantly racist comments and say that these men and women do the jobs that we, as a nation, generally refuse to do.

They aren't taking our jobs-if you lose a job to someone as bad off as they, well, you have bigger problems than immigration on your hands- and they aren't the "most disgusting rude sort."

Frankly, I find that deeply offensive.

To quote from his site:

"My faith is my life - it defines me. My faith doesn't influence my decisions, it drives them. For example, when it comes to the environment, I believe in being a good steward of the earth. I don't separate my faith from my personal and professional lives."

He is also very human in his policies concerning Mexicans, Arabs, and those who can't afford health care. Just because you're pro-life doesn't make you some kind of Gandhi.

He tries to mix the drink of religion and politics. With my personal beliefs aside, that's something that isn't going to work, and he's a bit crazy for trying.

I don't think Edwards has a chance. It's a fight between Hilary and Barack. Now, I would love to see Obama take the ticket, but given the decades of political favors that the Clintons have lined up in every state, I dunno if that's gonna happen.

I was also glad to see the GOP split so many ways. If they aren't careful, some wackjob like Huckabee is going to get in. That would be a bad way to go down.
