although i don't think that is really going to happen.(the innovative combat controls) Because they haven' done it in ANY of the Wii games. But there is a chance that they will because, considering will is who he is, he wants to be the first one to do everything.

plus building your creature with the wii-mote would be cool, but it may be more difficult for precision work
yeah, see that's what I'm saying. It seems like it would be a LOT more fun to play on the WII. Although i don't own the game i have played it and it is quite fun.

As far as not being able to download Spore, what type of connection are you on? Are you on a router? Try hooking directly to the modem to download it. The router can sometimes stop downloads.

I am not trying to download spore I'm trying to download EA download manager, but I'm on Mozilla and i think I'm on a wireless router

radeon x800 gto

8
that is true, but this is bringing down ea's status and if they dont do something then people are going to stop buying in the future

9
why

although it is out for the PC i think they should make a spore for the Wii and PS33 and 360 and not the spore for DS kinda game but like the game for the PC. It really makes more sense now considering how many glitches and problems and error there are for the game, it would be so much better if they make it for the Wii PS3 and XBOX 360

Spore: General / Re: Spore won't start up (SOLUTION)
« on: January 01, 2009, 09:31:07 am »
ok i have a prob thats kinda the same

so like when we got we installed it just fine and everything worked, but then it wouldnt start , sometimes it would just not do anything and others it would put up an error message that said "spore has encountered and error and needs to close sorry for the inconvienience" so basic most generic thing possible. then we tried a couple of different things and watched with the MSCONFIG thingy and it got to 49000 and then dropped the program "sporeapp.exe" so we put up the download manager and it got to 51000 then dropped. we completely removed the download manager and it got to 53000. we tried installing the newer version but it wouldnt download anything
it just sat there not doing anything at all ??? it didnt even get to one percent. very annoying >:(

we have a windows xp desktop system pack3 home edition version 2002 AMD athlon (tm) XP 2500+ 1.83 GHZ and 1 gb of ram. PLENTY of free space and we have done basicaly everything already stated and made a new admin account and installed it again on there

please help

if u need anymore info then i will happily supply it

well after about 2 minutes after i have double clicked and then an error message comes up "spore has encountered a problem" so basically very generic and not telling me whats actually wrong. but then with the spore app program thing in run it gets to about the same place, then we did something (or well my dad did something) and it got to about 51000 KB (or MB whichever is smaller) and then it just drops the program Huh so then we uninstalled the EADM and wallah it gets to about 53000 so we thought maybe its the download manager (because nothing ever came up on it in the first place) and tried installing the new one, it wouldn't even download anything at all!!!!!! i should tell you also when you open EADM something comes up saying like "could not write license data" and then all of a sudden like late yesterday it starts doing this weird thing that is an error message saying "could not write license data" but it wasn't in the EADM

this is just the one im using for my email to the weird people at ea (who are the worst support team imaginable) i just copied it but basically this is what recently happened
