Just wanted to throw in my hat too, I've had severe depression and anxiety for many year if any of you ever need to talk, I can relate.

Hey Pat, my situations kinda like yours but no where near as severe, your situation is my biggest fear and one i'm working to avoid. As stupid as this is going to sound...don't give up, the moment you cease to fight is when it all settles in to be forever. Make your life goal to live a better life and think outside the box of how to make that happen. I keep a check list of everything that stands in the way, big or small and only focus on the next thing on the checklist unless an emergency crops up. If you try to face all the problems at once, you get crushed by the sheer weight.

I hope things get better for all of you.

PS4, microsoft took the dark path to destruction and I will not be joining them. Nintendo is still largely irrelevant to me and I still cant afford a good PC.

Gorman your character's actions seriously clash with the tone of a story which has a robot fire chief. Also they are the actions of a medieval sociopath. I'm holding out hope on the slim chance that was an attempt at satire gone horribly awry.

It was, but i'm not experienced with the setting or entirely sure what the setting is outside of watching a couple venture bros episodes.

Davids a combo between the TF2 spy, James bond and a more extreme Jack Reacher or a less extreme punisher. I'm out of my zone here, but ill try anyway. Sorry about that  :(

David had just been passing through the streets of Podunkville as he often had, it had been more or less a vacation for him. Such a town had no real use for a rogue agent gone vigilante so he simply was using the time to kick back and relax for a bit. Then he saw it, a hooded individual had entered a convenience store. David knew what was coming, he had seen it a hundred times before, it was always the same.

he slowly and smoothly pushed open the glass doors of the small corner shop, he watched the hooded fellow coolly as he browsed each of the isles in order. He followed with silent steps, he was a ghost in even in the bright light of the store, the crook would never see him coming.

After a few minutes of looking around without even picking up an item, the moment David had been waiting for, the hooded thug made for the candy bar shelf and sangged one, quickly shoving it in the pocket of his hoodie, he briskly made his way to the door. David adjusted his tie, cracked his neck to one side and shadowed the mans steps until he turned the corner just out of sight of the shops owner.

In a flash David grabbed the thief hand and wrenched it to the side, the man let out a yelp and his hood fell down revealing a face that couldn't be older then seventeen. *You seem to have a severe case of sticky fingers, easy fix no worries* and with a single twist he broke the kids pinky finger, the bone protruded to the outside and the kid squealed in a pitch that could nearly shatter glass.

*The bone can be set and will heal, but the scar will remain forever, whenever you look it it I want you to remember the lesson you learned today*  David said coolly

"It...it..it was just a candy bar" The hoodlum squeaked through ragged tears.

"Precisely" David replied.

As he left the boy to nurse his wound David saw a bright flash followed by a ground shaking boom. He adjusted his tie once more and calmly strode in its direction.

Name: David ----classified

Age: ?

Bio: Soldier, mercenary, agent. David has a resume that would make the most distinguished hero's blush. Not that they would ever see any of it, what is known about David is highly classified and what little is known about him is only what he left to be known. A number of years ago he fell off the map and covered his tracks well, many agency's still search for him, but it is in vain. Always wearing a tuxedo, tie and signature fedora David is as smooth as they come, always calm, it seems that every action he takes was pre planned. But why all the trouble? one word, justice.

Ability's:

Secret agent gone rogue David is a highly trained and dangerous former agent, he has access to a lot of Secret gear that the average person would never see coming.

Smooth and stylish Every thing that David does is done with a smooth and calm style that could make any women weak at the knees, that doesn't mean he doesn't fail. It means he always looks good doing it

THAT is an interesting idea... I like that a lot.

I second this actually, I've always been a guy to end up letting my characters die to add to the story, and often times i'm the only one (not just RPs here) this alternative is really interesting and more fair in my opinion. I mean its not like you have to stop participating when a character dies, I doubt anyone would suddenly demand that you cant have another part that fits.

http://star-conflict.com/

Star conflicts a free to play space fighter game (also available on steam) and its one of the best I have ever played, its in open beta right now.

Its arena based, with a variety of modes, my favorite being regular where you get three ships with 1 life each, you win by taking all enemy beacons or destroying all their ships.

The game play is real time, you control your ship, its not point in click, its got a neat progression system and is very tactical. Its a bit like world of tanks in space. A big difference is the different tiers of ships are separate from each other. If you have a tier 2 ship in your roster, your matched in tier two games so its always balanced. I like it it a lot, thought i'd show it to you guys.
