I just check in every once and awhile to see if it still exists.

It's comforting to see that people are still active and friendly that I remember from all those years back. I don't even remember when my last post would've been. Brings a smile to me.

At least it is Friday.

Hopefully this will cheer you up.

I hate how they do DLC. It's nuts and as bad as Firaxis' decisions with Civ V's DLC.
I miss how they used to do full-sized old-timey expansions. I was so disappointed when they started rolling out these micro-packs because now I feel like I only receive a fraction of any update's fully produced content for a fairly high price tag.

So much potential for good things and mediocre things
Such potential for day one DLC and micro-content packs.

Not disappointed... yet. It could go either way a far as I can imagine it.

Yeah, "sovereign citizens" have been getting some internet spotlight lately with their weird rhetoric and "magic words cast at cops to make them cower in fear" theories. It's terrifying that these people have been convinced or convinced themselves they are above the reach of the laws of the state they depend on.

Scares me, really. I hope this "movement" loses ground with all this public laughter towards its practitioners.

I've been sitting on my hands considering getting it. But perhaps one day I will and it can supplement my attempts to win with the Lost in Binding of Isaac Rebirth.

Such a wonderful series, Rick and Morty is. I've seen all three of the first episodes of season 2, and I feel safe in saying that they are still on their game.

My only fear is that the humanization of Rick in this new season is a change in the dynamic of the show and could lead to the show losing itself.

Anybody have any ideas on what Project Augustus will be?

Seems like Paradox could be trying a more fantasy or sci-fi grand strategy game, but I wish they'd do another game set in antiquity.

Also After the End is such a wonderful CK2 mod, reminds me of the hours and hours I spent in the Fallout mod for Hearts of Iron.

Chuck Jones is a legend.  Glad to have you back, Gunner!

Good to be back, Inkling!
Also: the online videos for children's rhymes are pretty much a gold-mine, as seen above.

This game definitely was one of the top games for me back when it came out. I loved the management aspects for some reason, and I feel like a more in depth game about running a movie studio would be a brilliant idea for a game.

Disregarding all that mess, Inside Out was definitely one of my top Pixar films. I really thought the basic premise was too gimicky to put something fantastic on the table, but Inside Out is definitely up on the top of the Pixar pile, so I would suggest it to anyone with feelings and the ability to go see it.

Apparently something by a doctor? Not sure. It has so few views that I just have no clue.

Back to playing Sim Golf here and there.

Anyone ever play this game? It's fantastic! Really great golf course design game and you can even build your own golfer and play the course to win prizes in tournaments (if your course is good enough to host one). Not sure if many people bought this when it was originally out. But it's very fun and has a lot of depth.

A tolerable preview with commentary.
Funky. I've been looking at going and playing more sims.

I've been playing Binding of Isaac: Rebirth all the time, with helpings of Crusader Kings II and Europa Universalis IV.

Outside of that I haven't been getting into games for most of this year, oddly enough. Been too busy and otherwise tied up in other stuff.
