I can't get the GameVideos video to run.

Haha, I like the concept. I'd love to play a game that messes with time, and I think time travel would be an awesome addition to Spore. I'd just go back in time to when a certain civilizaton was still in the tidepool or early ocean stage, and evaporate the ocean, muwahahaha! :P

Haha, well. I know creatures will be uploaded to complete the ecosystem, but I still wonder how Maxis will handle time.

I'd personally love to see a "Making Of" DVD like they did with Sims 2. There will almost definately be a Collector's Edition, but what's inside is a mystery. I hope they don't offer special parts for the Collector's Edition that wouldn't be available for people who have the regular edition. Maybe a figurine coupon or a Willosaur model.

After some thinking, I started to wonder something. Will there be a concept of time in Spore? I think that a concept of time would be useful to have in the Civilization Stage, for development time and such, but it would also hinder the content pollination. If a creature was created two hundred million years in the future, then how would it appear in my time era in the game, unless each creature is marked with a game time and uploaded in an order to games that have passed that time era, but then what about people that play and play, and other creatures haven't reached that time yet, would it have to start using the database on the disk? Or, it could just totally ignore time and upload any creature whenever.

However, another thing I remember, is during the GDC '05 presentation of Spore, Will Wright mentioned when he zoomed into the galaxy view, that time is actually passing by millions of years a second, and that other creatures will evolve in time.

So, what do you guys think?

Aha! Sounds really neat. If there was some sort of service in which I could order figurines of creatures, I'd definately order some of my favorites. In fact, I'd probably clear an area in my room dedicated to them all. However, I wonder how much money EA would charge for such a service, plus shipping. Anyone have a decent estimate?

Hello, my name is Andrew and I live in Texas. I joined this forum to keep up with the latest Spore news and to communicate with fellow gamers. I'm only fourteen, but don't let that go to your head, I'm a nice and intelligent person... Well, at least I can spell properly. Anyways, I hope to make lots of new friends on these forums, see you guys around!
