No, I will not PM you the banner. I don't collect pictures of naked or even partially naked women.
I wasn't suggesting that you...er...never mind.
Owned!

It never occurred to me to save a copy, okay? Sorry to put you in a bad spot, but you did ask for it. All in good fun my friend.

It could have gone worse. Imagine if LadyM had come in here, imagine how awkward that would be >.>

1) Yes, if people are willing to accept lower health care quality for the "lower" price. Private health care would become less common with the lower demand but the price should drop and quality should get better. Note: Whether the cost is the same or less than private health care depends, but there is a drop in quality inherent in universal health care. I know personally a good portion of our personal debt is medical related though. If it reduces the cost of basic checkups and operations enough, it could be worth the drop in quality.

2) Taking a business' profits reduces their power both for growth and development and reduces the incentive to make more profit. Basically the companies have no other purpose than to sell more goods and keep people employed. More than likely, if you took 90% of a companies profits they'd just increase the executive's salary to reduce their profit. Tariffs increase the cost to consumers to protect the national market from foreign competition. Tariffs can inflate the price of a product with less competition. Note: I think it should be embargo or open trade. Tariffs are like a nice way of saying "we'll trade with you but everyone of this product you send to use will be taxed so high that we'll only buy it when we're dangerously low or in dire need of it."

3) Inheritance tax is taking money from the rich simply because they have it or someone thinks they don't need it all. Most parents leave their children with money so they are taken care of. If the child cannot be successful on their own then that is exactly why they're given an inheritance. If they won't earn enough money to live on, they'll piddle what they were given away, possibly end up broke, and that would be fair. If they're successful then they'll contribute their part to society. If they hoard it, then at least they're not inflating the price of things or contributing to expensive toys. The government shouldn't provide money for people who leave debt to their children because that would be counterproductive. The inheritance tax is stealing and is solely in existence because of greed. The only reason to take someone's money and property upon their death is if they don't have a living spouse or any children and didn't leave their money to anyone else. The government already gets enough from the death of those without heirs to cover any costs they might have from people dying.

It looked like your ads are fairly random, there were ones linking to Britney Spears sex videos and the ones specifically of another girl showing herself topless except for her hands and advertising her videos, or something. I wasn't paying that much attention to the ad, I made a mental note of the degree of nudity for you and was trying to finish reading the comic so I could get outta there.
You might see it if you refresh the page a couple times or look through your various comics. It was one time that I saw it.

The ads here only go as far as singles ads which aren't particularly racy here. This one ad was partial/suggested(?) nudity. I don't know exactly what it was called but it was pretty bad.

And please remove the white letters from your quote.

Ram helps. I had 2 gigs and it worked "fine." I had to give the ram back and now I've given up browsing through my Sporepedia.

I have 4 Gig. Ada is a beast, system specs are not the issue.

Sorry, my mistake.

You...have porn ads on your webcomic. If you cannot get your dad to give you the go-ahead for the new site. Then I suggest you mention that there are naked women on your website and ONLY A NEW WEBSITE WILL MAKE THEM GO AWAY!

It'll probably backfire. But your webcomic has some good jokes. And it was nice knowing you if you lose your internets.

Echolocation? Possibly. But a red cell seems to hint of the scent sight xenomorphs use.

The vision seems to be on of the minute details they kept in Spore.
And it's a very well played joke too. Eyes double your vision :D.

$50 is a lot of money. Companies wants people who'll pre-order the game and hope it's good. They only buy reviews to encourage some of the more discriminating consumers to buy it.The most discriminating consumers will wait till the price drops, but by then the profit is negligible to the company. And then you have a select group of people that want to try before they buy. And then you have pirates who steal games regardless. Most people probably fall somewhere in between. But the most profit a company makes on a game is from the pre-orders and initial releases. With EA it seems, there's very little incentive to produce a high quality game, since they'll just release a slightly better rendition later and by then they either have regular customers or they don't make any sequels.

My review was positive. And what DRM :D.

How long will it be before they get the sales data?

Remove the panel on the side of your case and tell us if lowering the temp solves your problem.

Spore: General / Re: A serious discussion about mods

The question was theoretical. The chance of me buying and sending you a legal copy of Spore was probably not very likely but it was worth knowing your responses. It could have been a setup for a joke involving me posting a pic of Spore with your name written on a piece of paper. Or it could have been a chance to encourage you to try and mod/hack/be creative with the game's engine.

@SL, from what I've seen the securom events are isolated cases from some old buggy code. That is, unless you have some info on how many cases of failed CD drives were due to securom. Not playing a game due to the DRM reeks of paranoia. You could use a no-cd or crack in most cases if it bothered you at all.

As for you Wes, that doesn't even answer the question. Hopefully when you go buy the game yourself, you'll look at modding it. Good luck(I don't believe in luck) with that.
