Oh, it's not completely done yet. I'm up to number 7 and there's actually a two-part intro to the list.

The Gaming Standard

I didn't want to flood the thread with almost an hour of YouTube footage but if you guys like them, thanks!

The Top Ten Neglected NES games is Episode 2 and Episode 1 is a bit on Wing Commander. Cheers!

EDIT: Y'know I joined this place when GSteve was doing regular podcasts the first go around. I enjoy the posts but can't wait till he starts his podcasts again. They were must-listens definitely.

Hi! I don't post here much but I love GS. I've been a member since 2006 and always eagerly await the next podcast.
I've made some quick YouTube videos covering Wing Commander as an influence on PC Gaming and what allowed it to happen. I'm new to this sort of thing so any advice would be great. Thanks!

Hmm... I think it's a bit immature for the majority of GamingSteve's listeners. He just tells the news that everybody else does but then has annoying little skits that he does. They're only funny if you're the type that thinks that the Family Guy is funny because it is more disgusting that most shows.

Podcasts / Gaming Talk!

Hello! Hi. Being a newcomer here and the podcasts I didn't really know what this segment was. Now that I've browsed through some of the past podcasts I think that not is Gaming Talk a great feature but it is integral to what makes the GamingSteve Podcast special! I'm glad that Mr. Glicker can give very good, indepth, previews ala Oblivion, and has some very insightful retro reviews his experience as a game developer and an insider makes the Gaming Talk segment just wonderful! Even someone else with a similar background is going to give a different opinion on the goings on in the gaming industry. I think anything that will give this podcast some different flavor and not turning it into an audio version of other video game sites will be a positive. Please, Mr Glicker, give us your insights! Thanks. Ron

Podcasts / DS Import Feature?
« on: March 15, 2006, 07:36:29 am »
Your article on Japanese DS games is just fantastic. You bring up some great points! I was wondering if you would possibly think about adding a new weekly feature to your podcast or the site in general. Do you think you could add a DS import feature? I would love to hear about all those wacky Japanese games but since the DS doesn't really have a region coding that would probably be the most reasonable console to cover. I made my first import purchase earlier this year, Ouendan. It is one of my favorite DS games and I just randomly heard about it over the net. Would you consider bringing up interesting DS games that are import friendly? Maybe not every week but at least to keep up with the new DS games coming out that the average gamer might not hear about? Thanks for your consideration. later, ron

Hey, what's up everybody. I think that a great complimentary retro review for Oblivion would be one of the Ultimas. I'm pretty new here so I don't know what has been done already for a retro review on but it seems that Steve has done his share of Apple gaming. One of the early Ultimas would be great to hear about. Thanks!
