FPS on consoles?? Shame on you. I hate FPS on consoles, it just doesn't fit there
Shame on me? Why? Just because you, one man says "no fps on consoles" doesn't mean you have the right to deprive console gamers of FPS. You do realise that everyone on a console is on equal grounds, right? Play GR:AW on 360. Everyone has an Xbox 360 with a pad. The only two things that can change things are people with HD:TVs and big fat internet connections. I am on a really poor quality CRT TV and I have a 2mb connection speed on my broadband. However I can beat Americans with their fast pipes and HD:TVs quite fine. :)
How very true. The editors of PC Gamer challenged the XBox Magazine editors to a game of Halo: the PCGers using keyboard and mice, the XBoxers using 360 controllers, both on PCs. The XBox magazine editors chose the maps, as they had logged thousands of hours of Halo over their carreers and new them all by heart. Even with this advantage, the PCGers still beat them by a pretty large margin. Keyboard+mouse is simply more accurate. If I could use a keyboard and mouse with a 360, I'd strongly consider buying one, but with a craptroller, no way.
Who really cares? PC games are played with a Mouse and a Keyboard, Xbox 360 games are played with a Controller. Why is this an issue to you? We don't play on the same servers in multiplayer so it's not like there's an issue. Us Xboxers are quite happy mowing eachother down on the Xbox Live service and I'm sure you're quite at home on PC gaming. I go by the mantra that it doesn't matter whether or not you can target individual pixels. Gameplay is the issue here. I prefer the more fluid movement controlls of a 360 joystick compared to a keyboard "w" key. It's just the way I am.

PC gamers need to get off their high horse. You aren't better than us, you aren't special, and you certaintly aren't more intelligent than us.

Heaven forbid a box that is designed to play games (consoles) are able to play games! The travesty!

Oh, and "craptroller"...? I'm ashamed at how stupid that is.

I can see that I'm not going to be all that welcome here, so I'll make my leave whilst I'm ahead. :)

Well, I prefer FPS on consoles and find it easier for some reason. :)

Crap... will they be getting content from a seperate server from us or what?
Why crap? We're nice guys. We're all gamers, after all! No need to go dividing us. :)
Hopefully the servers aren't shared... I can just imagen what some of those creatures xboxer's would make.
There are idiots in all walks of life. You're going to likely see, er... "phallic" creatures on the PC and Xbox 360 version.
*spits*
Xboxsers
No need for snobbery. :)
yeah, however, i reckon the pc version will kick but xbox 360 version anyday..haha

Why is this? Apart from a mouse interface for the GUI, I have no idea why this would be the case. The 360 has a dual-core processor which is ideal for procedural generation stuff. And I very very much doubt you can mod Spore as everything is pulled from a central server. Every gamer is able to make their own content anyway, so why would you want to bother?

Unless the game gets dumbed down for us 'stupid console gamers' (which I doubt) I'll disagree. :)

I for one am looking forward to the rumored 360 version. My laptop would probably curl up and die trying to play Spore.

Cheers,
Tom
