It looks rather intresting, but would have to wait for beta to start to really see how good it is.

PC Games / BioWare developing MMO!

BioWare is already great at developing RPG's, it will be intresting to see them take it to the MMO circle.

No conformation if it is going to be on PC or next-gen console, but my guess is for the PC.

Console Games / Xbox 360: 99 Nights

Watch the X05 Cam Gameplay on Game Trailers { http://www.gametrailers.com/gamepage.php?id=2044 } and you will see why this game looks so neat. I don't think the camra does the graphics justice. And while it looks like a Dynasty Warrior clone, with the pure hack and slalsh, it still looks absoloutly incredable.

Console Games / Xbox 360: Blue Dragon
« on: September 14, 2005, 08:12:44 pm »
Ok, theres not alot of info about this game, but Gamespot has posted a new "Impressions" about the game, and so far, it sounds great.

Granted we dont have screenies or movies, but if they can pull it off, Xbox uses will finaly get, as Gamesopt puts it, "Blue Dragon looks as though it'll nicely help fill the need for Japanese-style role playing on Microsoft's forthcoming console."

The final game will have a procedural texture creator that will "skin" new monsters or buildings as you create them. So, you could use a selector to say that your creature will have purple and green fur with spots, and the game will be able to figure out (by analyzing the critter you build) where its back is and where its stomach is, etc. Then it'll put the spots in the right place and color the belly correctly and so on. Unfortunately this particular feature isn't quite working yet, which limited the creatures that Wright was able to build as we watched.

Yay for texture editors!

PC Games / Black And White 2

So we all know B&W 1 was a success and faliure in its own unique ways, so what do people think of its sequel? Now I know that PM has a tendency to promace everything and he sometimes doesnt deliver.

While Spore will most likley crush it when it comes out due to its greater promace and possibility, B&W2 does have some advantages over Spore, most of them being the "god" abilities and the new creature AI.
