Spore: General / Spore Fashion
« on: November 08, 2006, 06:41:24 pm »
Every game that has made a major impact always has shirts or stickers or patches of the like.  I always get a kick out of good gaming shirts so I made two ideas for Spore.  What other kinds of merchandise will Spore have besides the figurines?
A Hat I think is funny
The type of shirts and such I'd like to see

Spore: General / Spore TI-83+
« on: October 23, 2006, 04:55:29 pm »
Yes well, in my school we were aloud to carry electronics and such during class.  I used to keep my loyal DS by my side and play Mario Kart over the school's wireless network after class had finished.  Well, this year they outlawed all electronic devices and I'm stuck being bored.  Then in my Algebra II class, I found you could program games into the TI-83+ model calculators.  I have begun creating Spore 83+ for it.

What I"m asking is what all should I put in this game to make it Spore worthy.  So far it's basically an RPG where you gain Evo Points and spend them on stat ups.  The stats are Strength, Speed, Stealth, Social, and Senses.  It's mainly text based so graphics are being saved for version 2.  What all could I put in to make it more Spore-like?

Spore: Creation Corner / The Talpa, master's of the underground
« on: October 19, 2006, 11:55:56 am »
The Talpa are a small mole-like race that mainly live underground.
I've mapped out most of the main points of their development and have begun the detail work, filling in ideas for traditions such as romance, hygiene, and other small parts that can really add depth to the creature.

My art skills are limited so I do a bit of MS Paint work:

The main bulk of the Talpan race is located at their Wiki page

Tell me what you think, what you dislike, and if you'd like to see more give me a few suggestions and I'll see if I can add it in.
