PC Games / Decline of Gaming for Me
« on: May 09, 2007, 10:27:07 am »
Once upon a time, I was a fervent gamer. There was always a game around the corner that I was eagerly anticipating and once I had it, I would gleefully play it for hours until my interest shifted to the next big game. Regrettably, all of that enthusiasm for gaming has gradually subsided over the years as the games I most cherish, RPGs and simulations, have taken a drastic turn in either popularity or design, which has left me with fewer and fewer options as each year passes. I now find myself in a precarious position: I want to love games, but there are no games out there that are worth my love. Even more lamentable is the fact that I do not foresee that changing in the future.

What is a gamer to do? :'(

Replacing your incandescent bulbs can yield both substantial environmental and monetary benefits. So when you have the chance, pick some CFLs or LEDs up.

I'm searching for books that deal with political science, careers, and advancement within them. I'm also open to magazines. Does anyone here have any experience with them? If so, what would you recommend?

PC Games / Zombie Master - A Real Zombie Survival Horror MOD for HL2
« on: December 11, 2006, 08:51:42 am »
http://www.zombiemaster.org/about.php

Quote from the website, "Zombie Master is a multiplayer Half-Life 2 modification, centred around a zombie-apocalypse, which throws all but one player in the shoes of human survivors. Pitched against a relentless tide of rotting flesh, they must scavenge for weaponry and equipment just to stay alive. But that one player, chosen randomly at the beginning of the round, is not bound by mortal restraints.

To speak his name is to invite the wrath of hell - but most call him the 'Zombie Master'. He is nigh omnipotent. His invisible hand controls the legions of undead like puppets on strings; slowly closing the net on the humans while they run to and fro like rats in a maze."

This is what a zombie survival-horror should be, unlike Left 4 Dead.  8)

ps; the zombies do NOT run at all.
