The paintjob just doesn't sit with me.  So anyone willing to give it a shot at coming up with a more desirable paintjob for this?  Ill give any credit in the tags or comments whichever you prefer.

In one of the interviews that I believe was with Will Wright he said that this game appeals to even non-scientists.  What I want are actual scientists opinions on the game, and also how many actual scientists do we have floating about on this forum?  Feel free to say your area of work/your degree area or whatever strikes your fancy.

Personally this game has me by the ears since I started following it in college. I am completely enamored with it.  From my point of view it covers several really fascinating areas that I enjoy.  Evolution, speciation, competition, ecosystems, space, etc.  Not to mention z0mg cell stage heh.  I really cannot wait for this game to come out.

Yours truly is posting from work.

Degree in microbiology
currently working in R&D with bioreactor fermentations thrown in.

I know this is not the most accurate game ever and it really isn't trying to be, but it will be a fascinating trip through it nonetheless.
