We have some Spore discussion in our upcoming games dicussion in our latest episode. There is no new info on Spore but I hope you'll check it out for the cool style and format of the show.

Thanks (I'm a gaming steve fan by the way, and his show partly inspired me to start DGR).

PC Games / Oblivion graphics.. the introduction (question for Steve)
« on: March 08, 2006, 07:49:16 pm »
Hey Steve,

we all know about the change in shadow system the team announced earlier and most know that this original system was only showed in the intro dungeon where the player speaks with Patrick Stewart (emperor). Given you experience with this please take a look at this gameplay clip:

http://media.xbox360.ign.com/media/702/702493/vids_1.html

It is the first one (Extensive gameplay footage). At about 40 seconds it will show the discussion scene with the emperor.

Did you visual experience agree with what is seen in this video? On the PC on the Xbox 360? Was it better or worse?

Thanks STEVE!

Podcasts / Steve is great.. but...
« on: March 08, 2006, 06:35:17 pm »
Just 1 thing that I find a bit strange... why does steve sometimes say word phonetically, for example..

Compass: Its commonly pronounced 'cumpass' (with respect to what appears to be an italian accent but even canadian or US accents),
but steve says 'COHMP-ISS'

Another is Mage (as in wizard), its pronounced 'Mayge'
but steve says 'MAH-GE'

I know its a insignificant point but was just wondering why he pronounces these terms like that (there are others).

But respect to you steve you are doing great work!
