Although that wouldn't bother me, I doubt it, because it may get too complicated. Still, mabye.

I think that the second to last one looks like a cursor. If it is, I'd say it either: moved existing bones around, or did the modelling, like clay, as Steve said.

Hopefully, everything will be customisable. Well, that's the pitch, it seems sencible to me (I'm a really bad coder btw, much better at animaion) that if you have this immence custom-creation engine, why would you want to make a model at all? I mean, coding a deatailed model is a bitch, so if anything, make it in the editor after-wards.
Anyway, back on track. I kinda want to go the way jarnomiedema is going, big, bulky and metallic, but then, I also want colourful architecture. If you see a large, boxy, menecing starship, in pastel pinks and green, in your game, I apoligise.

I really want to explore the galaxy and find races in obscure corners of it, wierd aliens, hauntingly familiar figures, really sick images and all. (Of course, for the last ones, I probably won't bother to contact them. I'll just make my game a cleaner place... with a nuke.) Thats gonna be most of the fun for me. But I really would like to be able to share galaxies with my friends. In fact, one idea I had was, you can zoom out even more, to other galaxies, and the other galaxies were actually friends' playing area. They give you a code, you type it in, cool FX sequence, and off you go, aid their quest to cleanse the known universe of the Todger-men, or to wage multi-plantary war on them, planets being invaded and nuked all around. However, I doubt this will be a part of the game ATM, but this is one thing EA could pump cash out of me for, in the form of an expansion pack... we can but dream.

My guess is that you won't have money in the 'savage' stage. When you hit tribal you will be able to earn monet by hunting, havesting, and prehaps just living. But it seems to me that in the City stage you will be making an immense amount more money than in the tribal stage, so mabye your citizens day jobs will contribute to the overall revenue.

...Coz there's less gravity. Well, that ain't true, but you get the drift. Anyhow, it's true you can't just increase the size of something and expect it to survive, but this is a game. A really cool, weird game at that.

I'm gonna guess that you go back to the last time you saved. Just got an extra eye, and forgot to save? Too bad. There's still a punishment; not procceding in the game.

^^As much as I hate you for saying that, you're probably right.^^
And the annoying thing is that we will buy it anyway. We will line the pockets of the EA big-wigs, and that is what is wrong with the game industdry. I really hate middle men, even if that isn't really what EA is, I still hate this ####. Crap, thanks a lot, now I'm really pissed off.

Well, if you can place colonies on planets, it'll be like a regular RTS invasion, only cooler and wakier. Plant a couple of small, war-orientated colonies around the city you want to take out, pump out tanks and flying machines, and rain fire from above in the UFO. But yeah, having a fleet of UFO's would be stupidly cool. Actually, come to think about it, you probably will be able to make multiple UFO's, if you have the resources, but ahh, how do you control them? Can someone who was at the conference help, when you zoomed out, did Will send the UFO in after targeting a planet, or did it come with him. If the latter, which I think it was, then mabye not.

The problem isn't with the graphics card. If you made a fairly normal race, say gorrillas or something, dogs, but with a fantasy twist, you probably don't want the computer to select a race of spider-things, with 13 legs, 5 of which come out of it's head, and more sprouting out of the bottom of of the origonal legs. Although, as I suspect many people will say they don't mind, mabye not first time round, but another time you may want the world to be like this. I supose it's tough if it isn't, but they really have to come up with an ordering system for looks, if only for the walking penises wondering around a 10-year-old's game. Anyhow, that's another thread.
