Spore: General / Re: Attn Maxis: Suggestions for changes to the game

I strongly agree with nurizeko and Necrox. I expected Space to be a calm and peaceful sandbox if I want it to be just that, but it is quite the opposite and there's nothing i can do about it. It is deeply frustrating and stops me wanting to play the space phase, which I expected to be the greatest thing about the game. I do like the creature phase, but it lacks the scope of space and thus is nothing I want to play for ages either.

You'll have to uninstall the old version
I never do that, I just install the new version from the addons site (which automatically replaces the old one), and it works fine so far.

Thanks for the paging feature, immortius! :)

Great addition, thank you!  :)

It can become a bit too full though, e.g. when browsing for the most popular creatures.

Just in case someone didn't know: Pressing the space bar in the space game gives you $1000 ;)

It also looks like at some point there was a half a person working on Spore. :P
You did notice that there is no one-person-mark in the grid, right? ;)

Cool, thanks for the info. Browsing children and parents on my own, I see that the relations make a lot of sense generally. :)

The feature would even be cooler if I could use these links like any other e.g. click them with the middle mouse button in order to open them in a new tab. I don't know if that is possible though and I'm quite happy with what I have already - so thanks a lot once more! :)

Great idea, if it works - but are you sure that the creatures in your example were all made from the same creature? The "Metal Boysenberry" certainly is a copy of the original Boysenberry that I think was included in the (free) CC, but all the others?

Also when do you think will the update be available via Firefox Addons?

Spore: General / Re: Herbivore / Omnivore / Carnivore ...

Playing nice with some creatures and fighting with others.

EDIT: I just found it again in the Gametrailers.com Walkthrough with Thomas Vu (at the end of part 1). It's actually called "Adaptable" instead of "adaptive" and "Predator" instead of "aggressive". :)

Creature stage is social - adaptive (EDIT: adaptable) - aggressive (EDIT: Predator) afaik.

Great editions, thank you!  :)

Strangely, what seems to be the only known cell creature in the sporepedia is labeled a creature phase creature.

Oops, my mistake, sorry.  :-[ Everything's fine  :)

Unfortunately the removal of the Sporepedia webservices seems to prevent the extension from working. I don't see the stats anymore... :(

EDIT: My mistake, resolved.  :-[
