Spore: General / Re: Extreme Planet Types ?
« on: February 05, 2006, 11:52:43 am »
Any mention if the player can evolve on planets like a volcanic, desert or ice planet ? or just on earth like worlds with the green and all that, if not I think that would be a bit disappointing for me.

Yeah thats how this topic began, thats not how it ended. Not to ruin all of your fun but everything has gone way, WAY off topic!

Very cool. Though I'm sure that list varies for everyone, some might not consider it the top 10. Still I think everyone knew what #1 was going to be!  ;D SPORE RULES!

Music / Re: Pandora!

One interesting note about Pandora--it actually caches the mp3 files of the songs it plays to your hard drive. It gives them crazy names, so they're not immediately recognizable, but you can rename them with a .mp3 extension and toss them in your library. Of course, once you exit Pandora, it wipes out the cached files, so you'd have to do it each time you listen.

Thats really cool, I never knew that.  :)

If there are any music lovers here you have to check out this site. It recreates a playlist of random songs depending on what song or band name your first entered in. For example were I too enter "the beetles" it would generate a list of artists with similar qualities. This list will evolve depending on your "like" or "dislike" answers you sumbit for each song that plays. Best of all its completely can subscribe cheaply for added features but the main features are in fact free. It really helped me find alot of musicians I had never heard of but found to be quite good. Go check out this site for more detailed information. Hope everyone else finds Pandora as usefull as I did.

I also thought Snatch was kind of crappy. It was like watching a two hour TV commercial.

Don't worry...I'm sure only about 20% of those (at the most) will come out before Thanksgiving.... ::)

Dang I hate it when they do that, do they intentionally torture us in such ways?

I also checked out the Unreal Tournament 2007 website and I watched a gameplay video. It looks awsome, really amazing graphics! Epic never disappoints.
