Spore: Creation Corner / Re: Naucean - My New Creature

Unfortunately, I seem to be a bit late for the part here. Anyways, I must say Hydro that your Nauceans are among the best and most detailed of the spore fanfics here (And they are in fact one of the main factors in my creation of the Laganas( However, one thing that could be improved is the alien-ness of their culture and technology, as in that respect they effectively seem just like humans in a different shape. Indeed, the majority of Naucean clothing and technology appears as if you have simply taken Earth clothing and tech and simply changed it to the Nauceans shape. That is not to say that they are a bad race, but is simply something I thought could be improved.

Storytelling and Roleplaying / Post-Apocalypse World Map - Take II
« on: August 11, 2016, 03:29:18 am »
Inspired by Yuu's Post Apocalyptic world map game(see here

In the year 2015, a viral epidemic spread across the world, killing at least 95% of the human population. The only survivors were those who happened to be immune to the virus. 10 years later, humanity is starting to get back on its feet again. New settlements and governments are finally starting to reform civilization.
What nations shall survive the coming years? Is this a new beginning? Or will everything collapse once more? That, is for YOU to decide.

The rules are as follows:
Players shall take turns in updating our little story.

With each turn, a player will both edit the map to show the current boundaries of each nation and give an accompanying list of events which transpired in the world during that time.

Additionally, during each turn, a player can either add a new nation to the map or disband an already existing nation.

Be sure, however, to refrain making changes that are too unrealistic, like making an extremely downtrodden nation that's the size of Rhode Island defeat a pan-Asian coalition all by itself.

Each turn is equivalent to a single game year.

So, who wants to go first?
