Hey jarnomiedema, that name sounds familiar eh! Long time no see. :)

After seeing some of the recent modding people have done with City Life (especially World Edition), I actually really want to get it now... but I can't find it on store shelves anywhere. :( So I guess that means I'm stuck waiting for Cities Unlimited (and Spore, of course!)

We do know.
Ah yes, but that is SimCity Societies, not Cities Unlimited. ;) IMO, SCS looks like it's going to be an even worse game than City Life, and that's saying something.  On the other hand, the City Life team has committed to improving the city building aspects of the game.  Right now, we don't have a whole lot of information, but I'm sure you'll be impressed as CU goes further into development, from what I'm hearing from the developers.

Predators, and Xena of course.

AH yes, very much like that. ;D Except perhaps more sleek and modern looking, and maybe based on the ocean floor:

Has anyone heard of Cities Unlimited?  It's a game in development by Monte Christo to build the most comprehensive city simulation ever.  Monte Christo is the company that created City Life, and they've apparently learned from their experiences (and mistakes) in that game.  Cities Unlimited, from what little information we have so far, both looks amazing and will have a lot of very cool features.  Here's the only two screenshots we have of the game so far:

Anyway, I help run the first Cities Unlimited forum on the web at Simphoni, and if you're as excited as I am about CU, I would love it if you guys want to be a part of it.  We've already had the developers posting regularly on our forum, so it's a very good place to get your city building game ideas heard.  See you there!

Hell, I offer to go get a couple things from the grocery store if it means I get to drive. :P

I'm 17 BTW, so I've had my licence for 1 and a half years since I turned 16.

My name's Jeremy, and I live in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.  I'm going to the University of Waterloo in a week to study City Planning, and looking forward to it a lot!

I would absolutely LOVE to have underwater creatures in Spore.  Imagine building a whole floating city made of giant glass spheres. :o That should definitely be the next thing they work on adding to the game, without a doubt.
