Meh. :-\

You Scored as Apathy

Your life is marked by quite a bit of apathy: You don’t seem to care much about the direction of your own life, much less society in general.

I would find a quote or two to better describe the virtues and thoughts behind apathy, but ironically those who would espouse the concept of apathy are too apathetic to write about it.

“Eh, who cares?”
--Myself, just now...

More info at Arocoun's Wikipedia User Page...

Well, I've gone and got myself a valenth thingy. It's rigged for ease of use, and any clicks are appreciated. ;)

Edit: Fixed the link so it actually works. ¬_¬

Ethan sidestepped the falling Broadside, skidding to a stop in a slightly more open part of the corridor. It would be harder to defend himself there, but he needed some space to fight or there would be collateral damage. Startled by the sudden appearance of the two children, he gritted his teeth and activated the rune on the scrap of paper in his hand. As the paper disintegrated, a bolt of magical lightning arced from his hand through the jet of water and towards Raph.

Ethan stood to the side of Broadside, alert and prepared for a fight. He had found during his time with the mercenaries that alongside the big guy was the safest place on the battlefield for him to be. His magic took a second or two to use, too long if you're under fire.

He turned to Fletchings, a scrap of paper grasped tightly in his hand, the rune on which was ready to be activated at a moment's notice.

"See, if you don't tell us, either we make you talk or we tear this whole place down to find him."

Ok, I'm back and ready to get back into this.

Does anyone here mind if I delete the last post I made in the RP? I didn't actually interact with anyone else in the first half of the arc and nobody mentioned my presence. It's just me being lazy, but no other posts would need to be changed as a result of me doing it, and it would be a lot easier for me to do it and hop right back in rather than have to think of a reason why Ethan sat around doing nothing during the battle with the convoy.

Anyone want to baby sit this one to adulthood, please.

I'll do it. It's got enough views to hatch now, but I've bookmarked the egg and will post it to a couple of sites I use when it's hatched.

Sorry about not posting in this arc, I've been tied up with Christmas stuff. I'm going to try to catch up a few days after Christmas, when I'll be home with more reliable internet access.

I doubt I'm on the same as anyone else here.

Level 65 Human Priest
Darkmoon Faire EU (RP)

From what I've seen of Outland so far, I agree with MetallicDragon. I've only done Hellfire Peninsula, Zangarmarsh and the start of Terrokar so far, but they've been pretty good. Ignoring the Hellboars and the crappy looking gear, anyway. I can't wait to go to Northrend, from what I've heard it sounds great. It's a pity I'm not getting Wrath until Christmas, I'm having to slow down my levelling to make it so that I hit level 70 around then.

Seeing as we were on the subject on the last page, I've forced a couple of eggs successfully as well.

Both of those had been forced, and as I froze the second one, it kept the tag. :)

Ok, while I'm here, it's dragon update time! Since the last time I posted, I acquired a few more. These have fully matured:

The Autumn there is frozen. These haven't matured yet:

I'll probably get a few more later, I've got some room now. Hopefully some of my next batch turn out to be male, my scroll is getting female heavy now.

"You... Damn it!" Ethan uttered, clearly frustrated.

Dropping Geoffrey, he stood up and ran his hand through his hair.

"You should go. Now."

Hoping he made the right decision, Ethan walked over and scooped up the rest of the rings. It would be better than going back with nothing. He placed the case in his pocket, unclipped his walkie-talkie again and began to walk back towards the convoy. He tilted his head towards the boy with the robot as he passed.

"You probably ought to follow me if you value your life. You do not want to cross Flavian Brady out here. Or anywhere, really."

He continued his walk back to the convoy, trying to think of what he was going to say to Sally.

Ethan sighed. The Rookie wasn't being cooperative, and having company here would just make this more difficult. He tightened his grip on Geoffrey's collar and turned to the new arrival.

"We've both already been attacked today and we don't really need to be a second time. He ran off with something and I want to ask him why."

He took a second to calm himself down and turned back to face Geoffrey.

"Ok. Who was the woman on the bike, why did she want the ring and why the hell did you run off with it?"

Ethan stood, watching the scene. Grimacing slightly as Geoffrey was shot, he waited until he had grabbed the loose ring and began to run, then jumped and grabbed him, knocking him to the ground once again.

"Look, Geoffrey. I just want to talk. If you try to run again without answering my questions, though, don't think I won't set you on fire. Because if you try to run, I'll set you on fire. Is that clear?"

"Gotcha, Command. I'll see what I can do." Ethan sighed into the transceiver. He had given the Rookie the benefit of the doubt when he joined, he had trusted him and now it turned out his trust had been misplaced. He knew Command had her reasons for recruiting him, but he was beginning to wonder how sound they were.

Resuming his chase, he closed in on the shack where Geoffrey seemed to have stopped. There was another there, and he seemed to be armed as well. Ethan gritted his teeth and slowed as he approached the two.

Ethan was cut off halfway through his incantation by a torrent of sound from the walkie talkie on his belt. Swearing under his breath, he grabbed it and returned his sights to the fleeing Rookie.

"Damnit! Command, Rookie's taken what the bike lady wanted and he's running off with it. Do you need me back there or should I continue the chase?"

"I'm on it!" Ethan spat, as he turned towards Broadside and focused on the bike. As he muttered the incantation, ice began to form around the wheels of the motorbike, freezing it to the ground. It wouldn't hold for long, but it would be enough for the rest of the Mercenaries to deal with her.

As soon as the spell was complete, Ethan dashed off after the Rookie, mentally preparing another spell to slow him down. The mission was to protect the cargo and he wasn't going to let that fool jeopardise it.
