Well maybe I am missing some point or don't get it since I don't have the game but I planned on exploring my own solar system first, and taking my time.

Sorta like we are doing, Humans I mean, we are focused on getting to Mars first before even attempting to leave the system.

Not that this helps at all with the issue, but I was thinking maybe people are jumping straight to other systems right off without even taking time to build up themselves in case they get attacked?  I dunno...

Well at least in my game, the instant I colonized another system the first time, I encountered alien civilizations which expand rapidly. So I kind of had to expand the same way to keep up with them. Otherwise I would have been surrounded by the time the second system was fully established, with colonies on each planet.

I absolutely agree with your thoughts. Terraforming, discovering rare star systems, creating custom eco systems and placing colonies is all fun, but I rarely have any time for this because of all the stuff you mentioned. The player should be able to build a fleet of starships himself, which can take over certain tasks (defending against pirate and enemy fleets, balancing out eco systems, attacking enemy planets etc.). Why I have to handle every given task myself is beyond me.

wait so you've already unlocked that secret that they said it would take the most hardcore players a long time to do? or are you talking about something else??

It's probably not too hard if you cheat your way through. Playing legit, it's actually pretty time-consuming.

Here, this is what was inside the Galactic Edition box:
(Here be a fancy picture)

Just wanted to post the exact same thing.. ;) I did not watch the "How to build a better being" documentary yet, but the artbook is awesome!
The new rating logos blow, however..

Interesting. Apparently the Creature Creator should not work for me... but it does.
Hopefully it will be the same for Spore.

Hmm.. a German here. ;) I have been in Leipzig, but this year I probably won't be able to. Will ask some friends though, if they will be there.

1) First album you owned/purchased?
Metallica - Ride the Lightning

2) Most recent album you purchased?
Dream Theater - Octavarium

3) First live show?
Gamma Ray

4) Most recent live show?
Hatebreed in Bielefeld (been a while)

5) Most overrated musician?
Kurt Cobain

6) Most underrated musician?
Pff, no idea.. Jack Slater?

7) What's your musical guilty pleasure (i.e. name a musician/group that your gut tells you you shouldn't like, but you do anyway)?

8 ) Let's say you could go back in time and bring any one dead musician into present times? Who would you pick?
J.S. Bach

9) What's your poster-child "band that broke up too soon"?
Can't think of any

10) Pick your dream band -- at the very least, vocalist, guitar, bass, drums. If you want to include a second guitarist, keyboards, theremin, lute, xylophone, whatnot... live it up, but you gotta start with the basics.
Vocals - Daniel Gildenöw (Pain of Salvation)
Bass - Steve DiGiorgio (various, e.g. Death)
Drums - Danny Carey (Tool)
Guitar - John Petrucci (Dream Theater)
Keyboard - Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater)
Decorative element - Rob Zombie and Lemmy

11) Name one cover version of a song that whups the ass of the original.
Dimmu Borgir - Burn in Hell

12) Speaking of covers, name a song that always struck you as a great song if done by someone else.
It's to late here to understand that question for me...

13) Pick a dream collaboration, i.e. artist A working with artist B.
Manowar working with 50 Cent... that would.. like... kick ass.

14) Best album cover art? (No Spinal Tap references)

15) Fat Elvis or skinny Elvis?
Or none at all?

16) If all four Beatles were still alive, would they have cashed in on a Millenium reunion concert?

17) Will there EVER be a more unrealistic movie moment than Peter Frampton and the Bee Gees beating up Aerosmith in the "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" movie?
"A red sun rises" ...

18) Bono has been mentioned as a candidate to head the World Bank. Would you let Bono manage YOUR finances?
Which finances?

19) Would you let MC Hammer manage your finances?
Which finances?

20) Lastly, the infamous "desert island" question -- pick five CDs you'd take with you to a desert island. To add to degree of difficulty, no Greatest Hits allowed.
Pain of Salvation - Be (ChinassiaH)
Dream Theater - Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory
Beethoven - 9th Symphony (I hope this counts as a CD...)
Both Liquid Tension Experiments.. that's exactly my kind of rock music.

So you're making blue humans? ;)

Nobody will call you unoriginal, if there's a well-thought little universe behind it. I myself like to read through detailed information about culture, history etc... so try to write some stuff up ^^

Well that's a very basic idea. You should try to put a little more detail in it and I think, a little sketch would help us too!

It seems like you people never heard of Dünyayi kurtaran adam (aka. Turkish Star Wars), which is basically the best movie ever made about Turkish science fiction heros, period.

I never understood a single word though...

Spring came with awakening, came with innocense and joy
Spring came with fascination and desire to deploy
Summer came with restlessness and curiousity
Summer came with longing for the things we could not be

Take me to the forest, take me to the trees
Take me anywhere as long as you take me
Take me to the ocean, take me to the sea
Take me to the Breathe and BE

Autumn came with knowledge, came with ego came with pride
Autumn came with shamefulness for the things we could not hide
Winter came with anger and a bitter taste of fate
Winter came with fear for the things we could not escape

Take me to the forest, take me to the trees
Take me anywhere as long as you take me
Take me to the ocean, take me to the sea
Take me to the Breathe and BE

Teach me of the forest, teach me of the trees
Teach me anything as long as you teach me
Teach me of the ocean, teach me of the sea
Teach me of the Breathe and BE

See me! I am the one creation
Hear me! I am all the love that came from Animae
Know me! I am the incarnation
Fear me! I am all the power held by Animae

Give me of the forest, give me of the trees
Give me anything as long as it's for me
Give me of the ocean, give me of the sea
Give me of the Breathe and BE

Give me all the forests, give me all the trees
Give me everything as long as it's for free
Give me all the oceans, give me all the seas
Give me all the breathing BE

"Imago" of Pain of Salvation's "Be (ChinassiaH)". Though I admire the whole album, I especially like the lyrics of Imago, as they flow with the music really well.

I also have to add O Fortuna by whoever it was by(I've heard a few different versions.

You're probably talking about Carl Orff

Ride of the Valkyries was already posted.. so I'll have to add: Try almost everything by Richard Wagner, his music is practically "bellum in musica" (yeah, this is probably horribly wrong, I don't speak Latin).

Other than that, try intro music from scandinavian Viking Metal bands. For example listen into Einherjer's "Blot"-Intro.

Thanks again for the feedback! :)

As for your questions...
Nope, there is no vocative and ablative... yet, that is. I might be editing the language a lot, because I simply love to fool around with languages and phonetics. I still have to work on the Naem-Bai Höng language a whole lot. Though it will share similarities with Ren-Bai Höng, there will also be differences (especially regarding phonetics, they also have some differences in grammatical cases - having no dative and accusative, but an objective case)!

@huggkruka It would be kind of you to inform me about those spelling and grammar mistakes, if you have the time! :) I still have to improve my English in some aspects.

For those, who are interested (I think a13gt asked about it), I created a small map of the NaemZay planet! Also available at my Sporewiki article, together with some additional information, which will - of course - be expanded a lot!

I hope you enjoy it!
