I would say as like your evil arch-enimy but it wouldn't work so well, as if you were fast, strong and smart, well...

You're right. It wouldn't be a complete inverse. But maybe if you were creature was fast and smart, the nemesis would be constructed as big, slow, covered in weapons, ... and smart.

I've been kicking around ideas on how to mod Spore. Just for fun.

What do you think of this one?

The nemesis mod would try to construct a creature that is the exact inverse of yours and evolve it lockstep with yours through out all of the stages in the game. If your creature is short and stubby, your nemesis might evolve tall and thin. It would look completely different then your creature but the background logic would be taking the traits you were applying to your creature and trying to figure out the inverse. In the civilization stage, if your creature was really aggressive maybe your nemesis might be more peaceful and cultural.

Anyways just a thought, now I will go back to waiting for "early 2007".
