Console Games / Re: Flash Games for Wii

I think it's quite interesting. I would check it out for sure.  One of the people I know (who goes by the handle Afro-Ninja) told me about this site and it was recently mentioned on ign.com.

Console Games / Re: Wii Virtual Console: What Games are on Your List?

N64:
Yoshi's Story:  I Know it's a short game, but was fairly fun.  I wouldn't mind buying it for only $10.
Yoshi's Island on the SNES is about nine million times better than this game.

Sorry to hear Yoshi's story isn't that fun.  The reason I didn't list Yoshi's Island is that I still own it for the SNES.  I'm not going to rebuy any games I still have.

I actually have a large portion of that list.  I would go items I never purchased on the original system.  Here on some items I want:

NES:
Duck Hunt: I never actually owned this, seems like a decent ice-breaker for friends.

SNES:
Chrono Trigger:  I played this at a friend's house, so I can't replay it.  Interesting storyline.
Final Fantasy 3 (6 in Japan): Do you really need to know?
Uniracers: I remember seeing a friend with this, but never played.  Looks like a fun one to pick up.

N64:
Yoshi's Story:  I Know it's a short game, but was fairly fun.  I wouldn't mind buying it for only $10.
Paper Mario: Another one I played at a friend's house, but never got to finish.
Blast Corps: A game I liked, but never took the plunge.  At $10, I'm all for it.
Ridge Racer 64: Because I'm not getting a PS3... Just kidding, I don't want this.
[edit] Star Fox 64: I don't know how I forgot this game.  I still like it a lot, but don't own it myself[/edit]

TurboGrafx-16
Bonk's Adventure: I heard references to this from friends, want to try it out.

I wonder how that happened.  I know an assistant manager at an EB Games, and it doesn't sound like they have a wii yet.

Congrats Steve!

I was worried about you, but I'm glad to know you were away for something joyful, not painful!

We all love your podcast and posts, but don't let us fool you.  We know that family is important.

Podcasts / Re: How did you discover "Gaming Steve"?

I just recently discovered podcasting and I was searching a few lists of podcasts.  Gaming Steve sounded interesting so I checked out the site and was hooked.  I didn't know what spore was for a long time, but I got very interested thanks to the podcast.

Advance wars 2 is a great game.  If you like that style, you may also like fire emblem.  Those games are great for times when you can be interupted.  While I would suggest the mario kart for the DS, since you just have a game boy, you may want the GBA mario kart.  It's fairly solid.

I really don't see the point of that card game.  Wouldn't it be better to make it fully digital?  I don't think mixing ps3 with a card game is that great of an idea.

oh great... pay for additional content on the psp.  Did you notice he said it was a $50 card?

yeah, I guess I'm just a little excited.  I should just wait until tomorrow and see what's going on then.

I'm watching it... but there is no game information yet.  Just chatter about the blu-ray.

Or that peodophile share more genes with crabs than humans...
Shouldn't this forum be a little more family friendly?  (Please don't make a joke about that)

TV / Re: Lost

You may want to check out abc.com  They are airing the most recent episodes of LOST for a test period.  It only has a few ads per episode.  Most important, it's a free, legal way to watch it online.  Quality is pretty good.

[edit] That is the most recent episode for American viewers.  I don't know what the schedule is like for the rest of the world.[/edit]
