Title: Left and Right: The Perrachi Reconstruction: OOC and Planning
Post by: Yuu on October 06, 2010, 01:33:13 am
Might as well post this now to get some ideas from everyone.

While it might not be good to start so many RPs simultaneously, I thought it wouldn't hurt much to at least establish what has happened during the Perrachi Reconstruction, like what ever happened to Khanedin or Angela Merkel Enna Miq, or to the Perrachi's government, soceity and military as a whole.

So, any thoughts?

I, for one, would like the Perrachi to keep a socialist system. Just make sure those ultra-leftist extremists don't get into power again.

I, too, want the Perrachi to stay socialist. I'd write the entire story myself, if I didn't know it would get me banned faster than I could say "wha?"

I have no idea whats going on with the Perrachi, I'm going to assume it's bad.

Let's postpone this until the Nameless War is over, ok? We can assume that if the Nameless are repelled and Perrawiih is untouched by Them, then the Perrachi will regain their old form of government. If the Nameless reach Perrawiih (and I hope they don't), then we can make an RP to see what happens. BTW Yuu, UFO King wants me to let you know that the communist revolutionaries never got into power; they were planning a revolution behind the scenes. Dimikos Talin was just a bad president, not a communist.

That's cool.  :)

Dimikos Talin was just a bad president,

A very, very bad president. >_>

So is the ol' coot *don't tell him I called him that, please!* ever coming back, or is he officially done with this forum as a whole?

Not sure about that, though, he'll probably be gone for a while, judging from what he's preoccupied with right now.

I've always quite liked his take on things, especially during politics and space battles. He makes good political intrigue, not to mention really putting the science in science fiction.

And really taking the creation right out of creation corner. I will shed no tears if he stays gone.

True that. >_>

If only he'd tone down the hardness scale by a bit, we would've been spared many an incident... -_-

Hey yo guys I got an idea Keno you suck thank Yuu for the feedback.

So I was looking up "Sid Meyer's Alpha Centauri" and I got an idea. The Perrachi are split into many different factions, each with a differing ideology. Perrawiih could be divided to serve as HQ for most, but that's not as strong an idea. The Goonals could set up a satellite capitalist republic, the communists could form their own collective, and maybe the ecological Eleisians would take over Perrawiih and the core of the empire, appealing to many disgruntled citizens. Whaddaya say?

That sounds extremely awesome.

Especially since Perrawih doesn't have any hostile ecoterrorist swarm plaguing its surface.   ;)

I'd be all for it.
