Title: iPhone Apps
Post by: Met on June 14, 2010, 06:54:43 pm
I acquired an iPod Touch late last year. Since then, I've been enjoying a wide range of applications... particularly games.

The first excellent games I played were the Jelly Car games. The first one is free and comes with a good sized map pack. Jelly Car 2 costs a buck and introduces some new features and a ton of new maps.

Most recently, I've been playing Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja.

I'll leave it at that for now and open the floor for discussion before I toss in other app games I enjoy.

I saw a review for Fruit Ninja yesterday. Looks like an addictive time waster don't have an Ipod touch or Iphone though also would probably play it maybe once then not really use it again.

It's not free, but me and some of my friends play worms on my ipod touch to pass time in class. Totally worth however much it cost. It would have even still been worth it if I'd paid with money and not a itunes voucher.

I love Worms, but 5 bucks is a little steep.

Maybe on my next gift card. I've added it to my Wishlist. Good call there, Person21.

Though fair warning, it might just be the fact that I'm playing it on a 2nd generation ipod touch, but the game does crash every though and then. Though seeing as the game saves at the end of ever turn, you'll never lose more that one if it does.

Dungeon hunter is a pretty good game, even though it's 4 Euro.

It's great, but has very little replayability.

Zen bound is free today and I would highly suggest that app who needs a calming casual game.

You could also get an iPod Touch. It's like an iPad, but smaller and fits in your pocket. :o

The Silent Age is a pretty nice point-and-click, and free. I like it.
