The Wexxian Empire

The Tri-Wexxian Empire is the name of the Sovereign Nations under the control of the Wexxians in the Meridian Galaxy.

The Wexxian Empire is at war with the civilization known as “THEM" A Semi-Ascended Species once known as the Atheim. Currently in combat with them in three galaxies.

They are a minor member of the Terran Resistance, and the newest member. Often taking the roles of Rapid-Response Fleets in the Resistance Hierarchy.

The Empire is created solely for the destruction of THEM. Thus most of the exercised power is done by the Supreme Commander of the Military and not by the Emperor himself. Instead the Emperor has become an almost religious position as the embodiment of the Wexxian Spirit: “Protect Life and Freedom.”

The Tasks of keeping the Wexxian Nations Going, is delegated to the individual governments as each of the three nations regulate themselves.

History:

The Wexxian Empire was born shortly after the Exodus of the Robotic Wexxians. Jetas, the first Emperor, created the empire by annexing the war torn worlds of the “Great Trench” (The region between the Soahc Legions and the Targ S’etskarp nations). Effectively creating an empire between the two warring superpowers and bringing the Wexxians into what was then known as the ‘Infinite War’.

The Soahc and S’etskarp had at that point been at war since before recorded time and the Wexxian Barrier Strategy was to keep either side from advancing and attacking the other.

After seventeen years of fighting to maintain the Barrier. The Soahc and S’etskarp economy could no longer afford its military expenses without any results to appease the masses or any defeats to scare them. An official cease-fire was never signed by either side. But for a time it seemed that the factions where willing to glare at each other from across the Wexxian Barrier.

The strenuous peace lasted for five years before the Targ S’etskarp Empire launched a full assault on the Wexxians. The ensuing conflict lasted half a year before ‘The Infinite War’ was ended definitively by Captain Teaz Alwes-Enerva-01-2.

Teaz, a S’etskarp Wexxian, served in the Wexxian Navy in the Barrier War and was because of his achievements, put in charge of the 47’Th Rapid-Response-Fleet, which he gave the nickname; ‘The Knights of Vengeance.’ Among his enemies, Teaz quickly earned the title ‘The Lord of Vengeance’ for his prowess in battle.
Having retired from active duty after the original cease-fire. Teaz was brought into the war again, when his wife Lanetia was kidnapped  by the Queen Empress of the Targ S’etskarp Empire.

Infuriated, Teaz infiltrated the Targ Capital to save his wife. Confronting the Queen Empress, he learned that the ruler was in fact a “THEM” who had kept the Meridian Galaxy under control for millions of years by pitting the Targ and Soahc against each other. Switching sides every time one side seemed to be close to winning.

Teaz was only able to save his wife through the intervention of Moriadne, the Terran-Ixian ruler, who transported them the Wexxian Capital of Void. Fatally wounded in his brief fight with the dark being, Teaz’s organic body died within an hour of arriving.

In an attempt to save him, the Synthetic Wexxians transferred his mind, to a nanite replicate of his old body.

In the moments while his consciousness connected with the Wexxian coding. Teaz discovered that each Wexxian leaves behind an imprint in the coding of their offspring, a residual image of the Wexxians who came before. In a vision, the image of Axon the Avenger told Teaz to reclaim his old blade and use it to kill the Dark Entity.

Reborn as a Synthetic Wexxian, Teaz claimed the Blade and title of the Avenger and led a massive attack against the Targ S’etskarp Capital in order to defeat ‘The Dark One’ (As the being has been dubbed by the wide population since then) During the ensuing fight, Teaz was struck down by the Dark One.

Recognizing that he was unable to defeat The Dark One by himself, he merged his mind with the imprints of the ancestral Wexxians in his programming and became a semi-ascended being with all the knowledge and skills of all Wexxians who came before him. History records this as the first appearance of an ‘Omega Wexxian.’

With his newfound power, Teaz destroyed The Dark One. But the stress of being an Omega Wexxian was too much for his unprepared physical form and Teaz life ended after his victory.

With the truth of the Infinite War revealed to the galaxy, it finally came to an end. Within a year, the Targ S’etskarp Empire had collapsed onto itself and the Soahc Legions had relinquished its conquered territories.

The Wexxian Empire had emerged victories in its first struggle against an enemy unlike any they had ever faced before, but they knew that they now where at war with the full might of THEM! The Infinite War was over, but the Wexxian Empire had stepped onto the larger stage. Intergalactic War was a reality.

Thirty years after the Wexxian arrival, a confederacy of the old S’etskarp worlds, as well as many of the Soahc clans, joined the Wexxians in the preparations for war against THEM. With the signing of the Emergency Imperial Charter of Enerva, on Void the Tri-Wexxian Empire was born.

Oh boy, oh boy! The Wexxians are back! :D

EDIT: We're the only active machine civilizations (though the Reen aren't quite ready for RP). Welcome to the club!

Or should you be welcoming me? I lurked here for years before making an account. I can recall ages long past, of Nauceans and Kazeans, CAB and Prison Break...

Well I created the Wexxians on... April 15, 2006. Wow that's a long time ago!  :o Yhat makes them four years old I might need to take them to kindergarten soon... no wait! Wexxians are adults at the age of five  :-\... well, one more year of being a doting parent before they move out of the house.  :D

Anyway, thanks for the welcome(back?)  :)

Could you make a timeline or something please?

Also where's CAB, Halcyon War and the The Battle of Thishen fit in?

In addition could you talk about Beyon City Wexians?

Thanks in advance.

By all the Nameless Ones, this took its time!  :P

Anyway, this is the now official time line, chronicling the history of the Wexxians.
I could have kept the history a secret, for the sense of mystery, but the more I reveal, the more I can hide without you people knowing about it!  ;D

I can for instance reveal that I’m working on a map of the Empire at the moment... but first I got to go through my exam. It’s hard studying to become a 3D graphic designer!  :)

So there are two more Avengers? I'm sorry but I doubt they can top Axon, the dudes a virtual meme around here. Even I know about him.
Title: Re: The Wexxian Empire
Post by: Jack Zetter on June 21, 2010, 02:10:43 pm
I never said that they could TOP Axon... he will always be my favorite caracter. Teaz was cool too, though I never got to expand on him much.

The Title of Avenger is not somthing the Wexxians take lightly. It can't be earned or given by anyone. It comes by being chosen by the Blade of Axon.

The Blade of Axon, AKA the Avenging Blade, is a Wexxian Artifact; created by Axon himself. It was constructed to imbune itself with whatever useful technology it came in contact with.
When Axon used the Blade to fight the Catalyst; a semi-ascended robotic species, the blade gained the power to kill half-gods!

The Blade refused to be replicated or used by anyone after the death of Axon. The Wexxians could not make it take a new wielder, so it was left in the old flagship Independence. Where it was eventually found by Teaz.

The Avenging Blade deemed Teaz a worthy wielder and awoke for the first time since the death of Axon. Teaz used the blade to slay "The Dark One" and end the Infinite War.

Axon saved the Origin Galaxy, Teaz saved the Meridian Galaxy... both Lived and died in times of great war and sorrow. True Titans who changed the Universe through their Willpower!

Thirty years have passed since the demise of Teaz, and the Blade has chosen a new Wielder... Litaria Teaz-Enerva-03-02, granddaughter of Teaz and daughter of the S’etskarp Prime Minister.
21 years old, Litaia has become the third Avenger, A role she is not happy about at all.

Axon and Teaz both sacrificed their lives for the sake of the future. What will become of Litaria as her destiny is unveiled.

"Do your best, keep fighting and if things gets as bad as a shaved Torpal... Stay calm and say something cool!"
- Axon.

Looks like I missed a lot. I probably stopped paying attention between the "Nerconomicon War" and the "Destruction of the Originator". Which means I would say the Naucean Ascension (http://www.gamingsteve.com/blab/index.php?topic=1621.msg183630#msg183630) would be around there.

Axon? He can't be that famous cause I got no clue who he is.

Obviously you have read nothing from before your time then.  He is one of the, if not the, most famous and influential characters of the Golden Age.  Not knowing who he is is like not knowing Kind Arthur.  He is a ubiquitous figurehead in our RP lore.

Seriously Badger, even Lush knows about him, so I'd say it's not so much a case of Axon being obscure, as you not paying attention.

Wexxian Technology:

Practical Applied Supersymmetric String Manipulation

Everything vibrates! The vibration of air in a Naucean Horn creates the soft tunes that are loved across the galaxy. The vibrations of the molecules create the temperature and consistence of the material. And inside the gluons and quarks; the vibrations of the Supersymmetric Strings determines the nature of those particles. When observing the fundamental nature of our and all universes, it is not an exaggeration to say that reality itself is a symphony of infinite complexity.
 -Omerion-Delas-3-2

Practical Applied Supersymmetric String Manipulation (PASSM) is the art and science of controlling the very essence of reality; the Planck length energy strings that make up everything and whose vibrations determines the nature and laws of the universe.

Very similar to the Terran-Ixian Coding and the Communicants Disjunction, indeed, much of the preliminary research had been inspired strongly by the knowledge given to the Wexxians by the Terran-Ixians prior to the Exodus. It had been a theoretical possibility since before the Exodus, but was never put to practical use before Teaz merged his continence with the precursor Wexxian collective and gained the understanding and control to manage the process. While the strain of handling such powers killed him after a few minutes, Teaz did succeed in killing ‘The Dark One’ utilizing the power of the Universe itself to destroy his opponent.

Two years after the death of Teaz, the first successful non-lethal PSSM was a reality as Omerion-Delas-3-2 became the first to master the first four dimensional string frequencies of the eleven dimensions; enabling him to change reality on a local scale.

PASSM has two methods of use:

Engineered Appliance: the use of predetermined sting manipulations in technology, these systems are determined at their creations for specific purposes.

Exampels: Engines, weapons and other devises.

Pros: Stable and tested, excels at its determined tasks.

Cons: Limited flexibility in use.

Individual Application: the Individuals manipulation of strings through knowledge, insight, intelligence and strength of will. Sometimes aided by the implantation of Terran-Ixian Omnium crystal, the individual slowly learns how to manipulate through understanding and mental discipline. The level of concentration, intelligence and willpower required increase exponentially with the amounts of dimensions manipulated, but a few of the practitioners; the Omega Wexxians, have been able to reach the level of Semi-Ascension through their training.

Exampels: Teaz the Avenger, the Omega Wexxians.

Pros: Incredibly versatile.

Cons: Requires complete understanding of PASSM as well as RIDICULOUS high intelligence and concentration for even small tasks.

At the moment the implementation of PASSM technology in the Wexxian Empire is still underway, there are only a small percentage of the Wexxians, with the potential for Individual Application. And there are as of now still only four who have attained the power of the Omega Wexxians. Just like the invention of hyperdrive, this is a great step forward in the Wexxians development and it will change them forever… wherever they want to change or not.

(OOC; An ENTIRE weekend and THIS, is all I give you? ARRGH!
Naah, you can forgive me… I had my exam to finish and a vacation to start after all. By the way! I got an A+!!!  ;D
I hope to get through your list of requests. Let’s see…
Beyond City Wexxians… never thought of that.. or did I? I get confused.  :-\
Starships… should be doable, since it’s an old favorite of mine.
Vehicle and unique Wexxian Chassis’s?   ARGH!!! I hate drawing robots! OHHH THE IRONY IS KILLING ME!!!  :P
BUT… I will try! ;)

No, Magitek is something different. This is along the lines of Magic From Technology.
Title: Re: The Wexxian Empire

It's like the Terran-Ixian Coding and the Communicants Disjunction (Are those still around?)

Wexxians consider it to be level 4. Technology. Something that essentially breaks the laws of physics.
The Wexxians have a Technology scale that goes from one to five:

Tech 1: Bound by the laws of physics, but without understanding them. (Tribal societies and such)
Tech 2: Learning to understand the laws of physics and how to use them. (Human current development)
Tech 3: Gaining the knowledge to ‘bend’ the laws of physics. (Most species in the galactic community)
Tech 4: Gaining the knowledge of how to ‘break’ the laws of physics. (Terran-Ixians, the Nameless Empire and now Wexxians)
Tech 5: Gaining the knowledge of how to ‘rewrite’ the laws of physics. (?)

The Wexxians have always had a fast technological development. Given that they received  knowledge from the Terran-Ixians and now are under the threat of extermination from the Nameless Empire, they’ve had to kick their development into overdrive.

The PASSM technology is based on my own slight understanding of String Theory and M-Theory.
I can’t know for a fact if it’s possible since theoretical physics have no way of proving string theory. I also don’t know if manipulations of those strings are indeed possible given sufficiently advanced technology… but hey If I knew, I would be giving lectures at the university by now!  ;)
Title: Re: The Wexxian Empire
Post by: Lush City on June 29, 2010, 12:00:56 pm
Hmm. It works similarly to my species' FPG (Fantasy Particle Generator.) Although manipulating strings wouldn't break the laws of physics it would just allow you to do some really weird stuff. (Bottles of water heavier than Mars, Electromagnetic black holes, teleportation, element Synthesization)

Darn it, why are we relying on string theory so much? It's not even a real theory, just a hypothesis! But hey, what can I do?

Oh, and any technology is magic if you don't understand how it works.

Sting Teory, while untestable with our current technological development, is a mathematical curiosity that (if true) could explain the connection of gravity, nuclear forces and electromagnetic forces.

I know its not a real theory, but I used it i an attempt to make the science plausible.  :P

Non Imperials

Following is a list of factions related to the Wexxian Empire, but not part of it.

The Soahc Legions

After the end of the Infinite War, the Legions of Soahc split into two factions; the Soahc Wexxians and the Soahc Legions. While the SW joined the Wexxian Empire, the SL gave up their expansionistic policies and instead began reconstructing their culture and national identity.

The Soahc are an elective monarchy; the High Chief or Khagan is chosen from one of the heads of the 108 clans, by vote of the rest the clan leaders.

The Soahc are a nomadic people, each clan has a flotilla of ships that serve as base, home and attack fleet. The Standing of the clan is determined by its number of ships as well as the worlds under their dominion.

After relinquishing their previously occupied territories, the Soahc Legions have attained a civil relationship with their neighboring nations. Relations with the Wexxian Empire are overall positive with several trade agreements and an open borders treaty.

The Targ S’etskarp Remnant

After losing most of its military power after the end of the Infinite War and the S’etskarp Wexxian Secession, the Targ S’etskarp Empire faced a series of large scale rebellions on their occupied worlds and was stripped of most of its territories. A smaller empire than the Soahc Legions, the Targ S’etskarp Remnant still lay claim to a portion of Meridian’s Mid-Rim.

Ruled by Queen Empress Tianiz and a collection of nobles, the Remnant struggles to retain a grip on the systems still under their control. The Remnant has become highly isolationistic as it faces many internal and external problems. Piracy has run rampant and the Remnant is besieged on multiple fronts by their former underlings who want a piece of their territory.

Despite their leader’s preaching of S’etskarp Supremacy, the Targ S’etskarp Remnant is slowly crumbling to pieces and the once galaxy spanning empire with its hundreds of subjugated species, exists now only in the history books and in the desperate ambitions of the Remnant leadership.

The Remnant has a strained relation with the Wexxian Empire. However, they have too much trouble on their own to start actual hostilities.

The Independents

There are hundreds of smaller independent nations around Meridian; after the end of the Infinite War and the collapse of the two galactic superpowers, a humongous power vacuum appeared and every planet started vying for power. These fall under the category of Independents.

For most species in the Meridian Galaxy, this is the first opportunity to attain sovereignty.

There are an unknown number of Independents as some fall and others rise every year. Some manages to create alliances with others, some attain military powers and some have tradable goods to bargain with.

Most of the Independents have positive relations with the Wexxian Empire (There are exceptions) and a lot of the more organized nations would join the Wexxians immediately, where it not from the threat of the Nameless Empire. Regardless, two or three Independent Nations join the Tri-Wexxian Empire as Protectorates on average every year.

The Shadows

The Shadows are an organization created for clandestine intelligence collection, intelligence analysis and covert tactical response. Originally founded by Lord Axon after the Reclamation, the Shadows broke apart from the Wexxian Nation around the time of the Exodus and became their own faction.

The greatest secret of the Wexxians, the knowledge of the Shadows is only shared with the Top officials of the Organic Wexxians, such as the Praetors and their staff.

After the break from the Wexxians, the Shadows have begun working together with the Tri-Wexxians in their war with the Nameless Empire, providing military intelligence and conducting sabotage on strategic targets. They are not under imperial control though, and remain an unknown factor in the war.

The Shadows have operatives in five galaxies, each galaxy managed by a Shadow Station. Shadow Stations 1-5 are all managed from “Maelstrom” the new Superstation located in an artificially stabilized region of subspace.

The Solvis Wexxians

The Solvis are a common denominator for Synthetic Wexxians who are not a part of the Wexxian Nation. Many Synthetics have over the centuries, left the nation and settled among their organic brethren. Some because of ideological disagreements about the Wexxians role in wars and conflicts, others because of their preference of organic company above synthetic and some just wanted a change in their life. Regardless, they are now citizens of their adopted nations and people.

Solvis live in small family groups of 4 to 8, they rarely gather in larger numbers, but prefer to be a part of their own adopted community. It is worth noting that the Solvis imitate the life around them to the point where they change their life expectancy (Wexxian is ca 40 years) to match the average, so they can live and grow old besides their friends and family. (Wexxians sometimes marry or adopt organics)

Solvis are generally found in advanced jobs where their intelligence and fast learning can contribute most; such as doctors, lawyers and engineers. A notable, though extreme exception is Aron Detos-Doras-6 who was for a period of twenty years; head of the Crime Syndicate; The Crimson Slayers in Beyon City. The “Aron Code of Honor” still dictates the syndicates business to this day.

There are Solvis Wexxians on most of the majorly populated worlds that allow immigrants but the largest populations are found on the planets; Hatia, Azuron, Vii Deux and Beyon in the Origin Galaxy. Solvis Wexxian is Karpo and means translated: Free Servant.

Huh, so they're a black ops group of the Wexxians. Wonder what they did all these years.

I'd like to ask something else; chronologically, how many years has it been since the rise of the first space civilization to now?

The Galaxy will never know...

But our timeline (I think) starts 1070-ish years ago.

For the universe as a whole, we may never know, but as for the galaxy, that would either be the Nauceans or one of the other ancients.

Then again, there might have been some other, far older races out there that simply went extinct before making contact with anyone else.

It all depends on the age of the galaxy itself.

Here are a couple of maps of Meridian. One during the Infinite War and one after, prior to the Nameless invasion in the ‘By Order of the Emperor’ Thread.

I hope that you will find the Maps Informative.

...

...

Void:
Capital of the Wexxian Empire. Colonized by the Synthetic Wexxians after their arrival in Meridian.  It was from the beginning fortified to withstand any attack from either the Soahc or the S’etskarp. During and after the Infinite War, it served as the primary command center and administrative headquarters of the Wexxian Empire.

Sidus:
Sidus is the Official Homeworld of the Soahc people. Through the ages, it has been attacked and bombarded several times in the last thousand years. Resulting in Sidus consisting mainly of desserts sand, made of volcanic glass. Despite the rough terrain and unfriendly climate, Sidus remains an important symbol to the Soahc and several clans are vying for control over the dusty planet.

Aoura:
The Jewel of Meridian… or so the Targ S’etskarp Remnant likes to think. Aoura is the Capital of the Targ Remnant as it has been since ages past. Heavily urbanized, this once great city can no longer sustain its heavy population with food or other necessities and has begun to decay. Those who cannot escape the planet-wide city are forced to steal and scavenge to survive. While the city is crumbling to dust the Targ Nobles and the Queen Empress have isolated themselves in their palaces. Pretending not to notice that their empire has fallen.

Atra:
Most populated world of the S’etskarp Wexxians. Notable for the Teaz Enerva Family Manor and the Tomb of Teaz.

Rei:
Rei is the Synthetic Wexxians second largest settlement. Like its more famous sister Void, Rei is a heavily fortified world, designed to withstand prolonged planetary sieges.

Verum:
Primary Planet in the Soahc Wexxian Nation. Primary Repair Site of the Alitia Station.

By the looks of it, a few Wexxian sectors are practically right next to the galaxy's center. I'm going to assume theres a super massive blackhole there, aren't the Wexxian worlds in those sectors at risk with the amount of radiation being emitted by the blackhole?

Indeed quite right. The many super massive black holes in the core region make it a hazardous area to most species. Both the heavy radiation and the unstable gravity wells are dangerous to navigate through and stay in. There are though, small pockets of "Safe Space" between the whirling storm of radiation. The Wexxians used their technology to navigate through these and establish a supply route through the core during the Infinite War. There are small colonies along the way to serve as emergency repair stations and fuel depots. The Wexxians predict that these safe zones will last for about 400-to 550 years. Many of the Wexxians Shipyards and Weapons Research facilities are also located in the Core.

Wow, the Wexxians really took a level in Badass. From robo-hippis, to Synthetic Galactic Empire in a few decades!

To be fair, Meridian is a lightly populated galaxy. The Infinite War raged for more than a million years before the Wexxians arrived. Most of its inhabited planets where desolated by the war and trillions have died over the ones that weren't just bombed from orbit. There is only a small handful usable planets in each sector... meaning that the Wexxian Empire only covers 974 Inhabited Systems... Ups I guess that should be 973 now. Without Void!

Many Empires in Origin has had more systems under their control during their time.

The Empire is also mostly a lose coalition of member nations. Any planet or system can secede from the Empire with a majority vote. The Empire was never meant to become as big as it did. The Wexxians simply conceded to allow Emperial membership after the S'etskarp and Soahc Wexxians DEMANDED to be let in.

Originally just a System to manage the systems under their control in the Great Barrier War. The Federal Imperial system proved so popular that within the first ten years of the Tri-Wexxian Empire, more than fifty percent of the known galaxy had applied for membership. It might also have something to do with Teaz kicking the Dark One's ass in front of the entire galaxy.  :D

Funny how things happen.  ;)

I’m not dead, I’m just busy with my education. Sorry for the lack of updates, both here and in the RP section. I’ve been suffering from writer’s block and a grueling amount of C# coding from my web teachers.  :P
I have a sub-plot planned for the Nameless Invasion, but I can’t write it at the moment… but I can give you a sneak peak at what I’m working on at the moment.

The Axon Project:

3D College DK where I am being educated as a 3D Graphic Designer requires its students to create and animate a character for their second year. It’s one of the biggest projects we undertake during our time here, so it will count as a part of our exam. We have already spend a good deal time on concept art (Something I an incredibly bad at!) and are now to begin the modeling of the actual character.

I have decided upon Axon as my character. He has always been my favorite Wexxian and is the most developed and successful RPG Character I have ever created.

As I said, I suck at concept art! But I hope it conveys the general idea, I have chosen a humanoid configuration because it’s easily recognizable and doesn’t require me to explain his abilities and background story at every other turn…  He was supposed to be wielding the Avenger’s blade, but I couldn’t get the shape right.

As for those of you, who do not know who Axon is… HE. IS. AXON!  8)
For a full account of Axon’s life, told by Axon himself, See the Burial of Axon tread (http://www.gamingsteve.com/blab/index.php?topic=9583.0)

I hope to hear some comments and/or suggestions!  ;)

No need to be modest, Jack!  ;)

Man, this is going to be totally awesome, seeing him in motion!  ;D

So nostalgic, brings back memories of when we had a Spore-based flash game with all sorts of different races.

You go, Jack! Good luck on this project!  :)

Here's hoping things run smoothly on your end!  :)

And yes, I totally recommend that those who aren't acquainted with the one and only Axon should totally read the funeral thread like, totally.

Axon Project Update: Character Modelling.

I wanted to give a update on my project for school. This model has been my life for the last ten days.
It’s taken longer than it was supposed to, but I’m a slow worker… anyway, the model is done now and ready for the next step: texturing!

This is my first ‘serious’ attempt at a character model and as such I’ve made a lot of mistakes and it has been through a few restructurings during the creation process. In the end though I’m fairly happy with the way it all worked out and my teachers have approved of my mesh.

I’m planning to use a cartoony texture to keep from a too realistic feel of the character and maintain the feeling I managed in my concept art. After texture it will be rigging and skinning and then finally lighting and animation.

I hope you like this update. I will post the next step as soon as it’s done. I appreciate all comments and suggestions.

Axon Project Update: Axon Blade.

This Saturday will be the day my class and I go to Seattle for a course in animation. ;D To that end I’m expected to be done with models, textures, background, animatic and video reference… this Friday! Completely reasonable, but I am far from being done because of my erratic workflow  :P. Still I’ll get it done somehow.  8)

Today’s Update is about one of my props: Axon’s sword:

Wexxian Artefact: The Sword of Axon

Type: Plasmic Energy Blade projected from Nanite hilt.

Length: Variable.

Physical Mass: Variable. True Mass: Unknown.

Weapon Reach: Unknown.

Power Source: Unknown.

Tech Level: 4+.

History:
Originally forged by Lord Axon using Nanites, morphable in both blade and hilt, the Blade became the prototype for the Wexxian Ion-Blades that are still in use. Axon was however not satisfied and continued to tinker with his blade. As a last addition before his demise, Axon made the blade able to self-upgrade; by mimicking technology and absorbing energy it came into contact with.

After the death of Axon and the destruction of the Catalyst, the Blade was returned alongside the body of Axon by the Jang. The Blade was unresponsive after its master’s demise and was placed in the Captain’s Cabin on the Independence; Axon’s old flagship.

Until the appearance of the second Avenger the blade remained inactive and impervious to analyse while the Independence was turned in to a museum.

After the resurrection of Teaz as the Avenger, Teaz declared that he needed ‘HIS’ weapon and went to collect it. After 150 years of slumber, the Blade activated again and was used by Teaz until his death.
The Blade returned to its dormant state again until it reacted to Litaria.

After eleven years of possessing the Blade, Litaria is unique in the aspect of having had the sword for the longest time and with the least reaction to it. Some speculate that this is due to Litaria not being willing to accept her role as the Sword’s master. Others theorise that it is because the young S’etskarp is not the true Avenger, but merely a vessel that the blade has chosen to carry it to its next rightful owner.

Description:
The Avenger’s Blade is undoubtedly the most powerful Wexxian artefact in existence. Precisely HOW powerful is unknown, as Wexxian attempts at analysing the blade has yielded no results except a slight dimensional flux.
A few facts are known about the Avenger Blade:

-   It absorbs Energy and replicates technology.
-   It has destroyed a number of Catalyst (Semi-Ascended Species. ID: 04-0001. Threat Level: 4,0)
-   It Killed a Nameless (Semi-Ascended Species. ID: 04-0026. Threat Level: 4,5)
-   The Blade is inter-dimensional. The Main bulk of the sword’s mass is not in this dimension.
-   It has incorporated the Battle-Armour of Teaz into its hilt.
-   It has only been reported to respond to: Axon Tagan-Enerva-59-2, Teaz Alwes-Enerva-01-2 and Litaria Teaz-Enerva-03-02.

It is unknown why the blade responds to some but not others, it is suspected that the Blade consciously evaluates if people a worth wielding it.

The blade has never been reported to communicate with its wielders or anyone else, but it is still possible that the blade in fact is sentient, given its behaviour regarding wielders and technology.

Status:
Litaria Teaz-Enerva-03-02 is the last known wielder of the blade. But her whereabouts are currently unknown as she disappeared shortly after the 47’Th RRF. lost contact with Meridian.

...

No no, we can't have a sword shooting gun. We'll go with the next best thing, a spike gun.

Or better yet. A hand-held automatic railgun that shoots hyper-velocity, armor-piercing, anti-matter tipped, depleted uranium, mini spikes or HVAPATDU rounds.  ;D

And the range of the railgun? Lets just say it will shoot the rounds so fast, if the spikes don't hit anything, they'll leave orbit. THATS how fast they'll be going, so hence the "hyper-velocity" in the round name. Oh, and they'll be connected to a battle suit that has a large ammo pack attached to it. Or it can self-replicates the ammo, depends on what your preference is.

That would be nearly the best gun ever made. I have a even better one in mind, but that may sound even more ridiculous.

Interesting.

Do share!  ;D

Wait, I have an idea: Let's showcase some weapons and see if it can stand up to the Blade!  :D

For mine...

The Hellbore - basically a tank-based plasma cannon derived from a battlecruiser's main battery.

Hellbore ammunition consists of slivers of highly-pressurized frozen deuterium which, when fired, are ignited (by a laser) in a fusion reaction. The resulting bolt is contained and directed using strong magnetic fields in the breech and barrel. The resulting plasma travels at a considerable fraction of light speed and is not affected by planetary gravity. However, since the Hellbore was designed as naval armament for space warships, modifications had to be made to avoid losing a significant portion of the shot's energy to atmospheric attenuation. To this end, a fraction of a second prior to deuterium detonation, a laser is fired along the path of the bolt to create a momentary vacuum. Later units which carried this weapon were capable of internally manufacturing Hellbore rounds, using water as a raw material, whereby the deuterium isotope of hydrogen is separated and cooled cryogenically into splinters of frozen hydrogen.

Hellbore power output is measured in megatons per second. The strongest version was an anti-starship railgun weapon, possessing an output of 90 megatons per shot. Such versions are designed for planetary defense and cannot normally be depressed to strike ground targets, though.

I'd so love to see this thing get assimilated into the blade!  ;D
Title: Re: The Wexxian Empire
Post by: Galactic-Warrior on February 16, 2011, 11:20:42 pm
Yeah, I read about Hellbores. Read about half of the Bolo books too.

As for my other gun ultimate idea. A gun that is completely made up of nano metal that can turn itself into practically ANY weapon stored in its database along with self-manufacturing the necessary ammo for it using a energy-to-matter system.

That in my mind would be the ultimate weapon.
