Here's a list (http://vector.tutsplus.com/articles/inspiration/40-free-tutorials-on-advanced-drawing-techniques/) of 40 tutorials, ranging from drawing cars to dragons. Most focus on humans though. Almost all of them are really useful.

Don't have a tablet? Wanna get that MSPA look? Do you have Photoshop? Then you're in luck. Just follow the instructions below for finer lines without even needing a tablet. Yes, no tablet. When you reach step 10, use a pencil instead. Be sure to set the pencil thickness at a 3-5 or more diameter. Alternate using the "Simulate Pressure" option on step 11 to make solid or tapered lines. Right-click and view the tutorial image below.

Too bad my old Photoshop versions doesn't let me do that. :(

But luckily for me, I still have my computer at school with CS 4. :D

Man, sure reminds me of the line tool in Powerpoint.

Though I gotta say the CS one is a heckuvalot better.

Interesting, I might try this sometime.

Look what I found!

http://www.posemaniacs.com/?pagename=thirtysecond (http://www.posemaniacs.com/?pagename=thirtysecond)

You basically try to draw the pose it displays in 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, it gives you a new one. This is pretty much like life drawing. The point is to quickly sketch the gesture without worrying about how good or detailed it looks. Over time, you get better and better once you do it every day.

Or something like that.

Mmmmm, faces!

That's something in particular I've been trying to improve on as of late.  I still can't draw poses or perspective to save my life, but at least I'm getting better at headshots.

Huh. Ctrlpaint is gone for some reason.
I liked that site. What the hell?

EDIT: Well, that was easy. (http://www.youtube.com/user/ctrlpainter)

EDIT2: Uh, nevermind. The site works again.
Seriously, it was actually totally gone for a bit there.
That was weird.

Found another figure/gesture drawing sort of site. It does poses set for various speeds, 30 seconds to 10 minutes, and even classes from 30 minutes to 6 hours long.
Some options for nudity as well, and gender of model.
There's even another section on animal drawing. Pretty neat.

Approach with caution because of nudity. Read options carefully.

So I've just started to realize the witchcraft that is Paint Tool SAI. There's a "portable edition" if you don't like trial versions.

What's so great about it? Lines! Smooth, clean, anti-aliased lines! If you hate squiggly, jittery lines because of your stupid, uncoordinated hands, use this program. It's almost like the brush tool in Flash, but better. On top of that, its easier to use and isn't as confusing or complex as Photoshop. You can adjust how much the software corrects your lines and is much lighter on performance for your PC.

Don't have a tablet? You can use a mouse! Instead of hand-drawn you can use vector layers for your line work and morph your lines with anchor points. And you can adjust your line width all along the lines with vector mode.

I'm quite hooked on model sheets of classic characters these days.

Here's some model sheets of Looney Tunes characters. (http://web.me.com/chong621/ChongToons/ChongToons_Blog!/Entries/2011/9/22_Model_Sheets_-_Looney_Tunes_Classic_Characters_files/looney_tunes_model_sheet.pdf) Super-useful, to me at least.

Found this subreddit a while back, but haven't had the chance to look at it.
https://www.reddit.com/r/artfundamentals

I've let my drawing practice lapse for a while now, which I'm upset with myself about. When I start back up again, I worry I won't be as good as I'd gotten, but I'm hoping to catch back up to where I was soon.
