How do you capture this?

Open up the cheat console:

Ctrl + Shift + C

Go to the planet you want to get and descend to the surface, or orbit at least where you are NOT in the space view, and type:

capturePlanetGIF (Caps do not matter I believe)

Look in your animated avatar's folder and you will find it there. :)
