Hey Steve,

I love your podcast.  I'm curious what kind of microphone/mixer setup you are using?

The mic I use is the MXL V67 (http://www.mxlmics.com/condenser_mic/mxlv67g/mxlv67g.htm).

The mixer I use is the M-Audio Firewire 410 (http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/FireWire410-main.html).

I also use a PC laptop and Audacity for mixing. Otherwise pretty standard stuff.

Thanks for the response, I winded up getting a $20 Logitech USB Desktop Microphone. LOL.  You can hear it in action on my podcast here:

Steve in Audacity can you convert to Mp3? i tried Audacity and it saves in a werd type which i cant convert with another program becuase it has never heard of that type right now iam using Windows Movie Maker but i want to use Audacity

Yes, you have to download the free MP3 encoder. Once you do that you can output in MP3. Here are the instructions:
