Title: Dragons Lair
Post by: James Shields on August 15, 2005, 02:48:55 pm
I wasnt sure where to put this but I figured here was as good a place as any. Steve, in the podcast you talk about how much you love dragons lair. Well a PS2 magazine in the UK a while ago came with a free DVD with the game that you can play on a DVD player with the remote controll. I was just thinking that if you wanted it I could try to hunt it down and send you it.

Yeah, I have seen that in the stores. I have thought about buying it, but I don't think it would be the same.

Then again, maybe it would be fun! Damn I love that game.

I liked Dragon's Lair a ton. That game, Burgertime and Popeye sucked up sooooo many quarters. I never really got into Space Ace though.

New information has come to light..... if you are planning on getting a 360 or have one already you are in luck!  Evidently they are releasing Dragons Lair, Dragons Lair 2 and Space Ace (http://www.planetxbox360.com/?view=article&article=551) for Xbox 360!  That's going to be awesome and work better than the versions I have, and it's going to make that $400 piece of hardware that much more worth it!

Not to beat a dead thread, but just in case no one has heard, there is now Dragon's Lair HD available for purchase, as well as Dragon's Lair, Dragon's Lair 2 and Space Ace all available on DVD-ROM format from Digital Leisure, including a 3-pack for $60.  These can be found and purchased from http://www.digitalleisure.com/contents/DVDRom_games.htm if anyone is interested.  Again, sorry for opening a dead thread.
