Plutocratic  (Elite group determined by social standing) NOT YET TRIED
Timocratic  (Elite group determined by money) NOT YET TRIED

If enough people request it, I may possibly in the future make a map-making tutorial, maybe.

This looks like it'll be a good list.

Because he is just as lazy as you! :P

Nice idea Brandon!

Btw: Can the "Creature Parts - Ideas for your Creatures" thread be unstickied now that there is a link directing to it in another sticky?

I suggest organizing the links by similarity, usefulness, and/or into an alphanumerical order. Might make it easier to use.

I was considering that.

I'm going to organize them by their purpose.

Such as:
Making Your Creature
Modeling and Architecture

Culture and Sciences

EDIT:  Done.

I don't know what creature is going to use this, probably my second one, but I plan on making a Darwinary Government.  Basically, the strongest rule, the average are ruled by the strongest, and the weakest are used as a food source for both.

Perhaps we should make a democracy meter.

                  0=Totalitarian Dictatorship 5=Federal Republic 10=Pure Democracy

This of course would leave the type of government to be determined...

                  Here's a simplified list.

                  -Dictatorship/Despotism (Communicants)
Complete rule by one or more people, generally through military power.
                  -Democracy (Athens)
Rule by every person together. Subgroups of society may be excluded.
                  -Republic (U.S.A)
Election of more than one person to determine politics. May lead to Electoral dictatorship.
                  -Theocracy (K'jal)
Rule by priests or Gods as per interperetations of priests, unless a false God is ruling.-Monarchy
                  -Agricracy (Suntus)
Rule based on power over agriculture.
                  -Electoral Dictatorship (Tal'po)
One or more complete rulers is elected for a limited period of time.

Then you can make your own icon for that. I'm not making that many of them. :P

I also purveyed the list.  But wanting a simple system, I chose the core basics.  A dictator and a despot is about the same.

I'll put it on the front page.

Pretty much, on research of my own, I broke down gov types to these:

                  ANARCHY:
Mobarchic (Rule by mob) NOT YET TRIED
Capitalist (Private enterprise provides for everything) NOT YET TRIED
Communist (Rule by unions) NOT YET TRIED

                  AUTOCRACY:
Despostic (Leader is a dictator/despot - NOT HEREDITARY) ROMAN EMPIRE AFTER CAESAR
Monarchic (Leader is a king - HEREDITARY) OLD ENGLISH EMPIRE

                  OLIGARCHY:
Aristocratic (Elite family groups control government.  HEREDITARY) ENGISH HOUSE OF LORDS
Plutocratic  (Elite group determined by social standing) NOT YET TRIED
Timocratic  (Elite group determined by money) NOT YET TRIED

                  DEMOCRACY:
Representative (People vote for representatives to make laws) AMERICA
Direct (People vote on laws directly) SWITZERLAND
                  Monarchic (Ceremonial king/queen) MODERN ENGLAND
