But he did not ask permission and I don't want to be quoted.

Well, I was just making a suggestion; a lot of people probably didn't read whatever topic that was (such as myself) and thus wouldn't know that you didn't want to be quoted. Like I said, it's unwise to say something if you don't want it to be repeated.

I also said I did not want to be quoted.  I think you need a refresher on the rules. You can find them all in my signature.:

I think some of you are missing the point of what I did.

I did not say anything very exciting while I was in the chat. However what I did say, important or not, I did not want to be quoted. It is the principle of it.


I asked him to remove it and he did.


That's all. No big deal.
