The review pages for those are hilarious.
After reading this I now realize that I'm truly not a human; that I, too, am an anthropomorphic roller coaster! I just know it!
I'm going to go live with my brethren at the State Fair in hopes they'll accept me!
I also love how in the book, Roller Coaster Land has been taken over by a tyrannical ride called "Ironwheel", and the hero is a red roller coaster called "Railrunner". So what's the prophecy foretelling Ironwheel's downfall entitled?
"The Red Will Defeat the Black." If I didn't know any better, I'd think the Iroquois were invading Uganda from the sound of that.
How the hell would a roller coaster act as a dictator, anyway? Would it deliberately sabotage itself so that carts would fly off the tracks and into dissenters, like a catapult? If the author managed to write a whole book about that, she must surely be the next great literary giant.
Now I've got an itching to play some Roller Coaster Tycoon...
