I agree, the voice changing just didn't fit.  I really though Cillian Murphy did a great job.  He was perfect for that role.  Creepy...

Didn't even realize they still made the Romance series.  Have some fond memories of the NES days.  I'll probably check this one out just because.

ah, i guess it is.  Funny, I didn't think Gizmondo would be fooled by something like that.  Either way, you've got to give the kid credit, it's cool in an ugly sort of way.

Thanks danzik.
As funny as that was, I can't take credit for that it.   :D

Sure, its probably a big, freaky hoax, but who are we not to fall for the work of a bored 15-year-old with a pirated copy of Photoshop and a dream?

I dont know, the touch pad seems pretty strange.  Not thinking this is it right now...

Personally, I think it's stupid but, if people will buy it, you can't blame it for selling it.
However, I saw one of the cell companies, Cingular or ATT, selling Star Wars themed cell phones.
I'd call that stupid.

My most loathsome enemy..

You are Paris Hilton!  You are the most popular girl in town.  Everyone loves you, and loves to hate you.  People think your a slut because of a few scandals you were involved in....but they don't know the true story.  You are stylish and fun and know how to party, and that is why you are the toast of the town!

PC Games / Re: If you made an MMO, what would it be like?

Massive space combat.

It would be a third person or first person game with big starships.  It would require people to work in teams.  The starships would have bridges, corridors, shuttle bays, engineering sections, etc...  You would navigate these to do different things in combat.   Go to a turret to man it for attack/defence.  Go the the bridge to control where the ship goes.  Go the the shuttle bay to take a fighter out.  Go to engineering to repair stuff.  There would have to be a comand structure built in so that everyone would know what to do and who was in charge.  Ships would be dynamically destroyable.  Fire an ion cannon at a ship and eventually it would penetrate, but only in the spot where the ion cannon was fired.  You could call hull breaches where people are sucked out into space.  If the ion cannon continued to fire it would eventaully go out the other side.  You could have marine shuttles that when to the enimies ships, latched on and cut trough the hull to let the maries onboard to try and take over.  These could range from simple one on one ship battles to masive armadas.  To destroy a ship you would have to destroy its core, which would also be where everyone on that ship would respawn after they were killed.

Thats the basics of the combat.  But there could also be planets where you could visit and guilds and other such MMO space stuff.  Maybe planet based combat as well.  Orbatal bonbardment would be fantastic.  A lot of the ideas have to be worked out, but thinking of a game like this gets me very excited.

I suggested something very similar to this just a few days ago so it's good to see I'm not the only person that's thinking of it.  Man, if only there were a game like this...

Absolutely despise this atrocity of a game. It is the epitome of everything that is wrong with MMOs today.

I'm curious what you mean by this?

Everything Else / Re: Game Ideas? Brainstorming.

I've always wanted a wanted a game that takes part on a large space ship.  Sort of a small guild based deal where each member has specific task to do.  Such as one person would be the pilot, another few gunners, maybe a ship commander and there would probably be a damage control/energy control officer.  Plus you could launch fighters with their own player pilots to accomplish missions within the battle like knocking the enemy ships sensors offline for a period of time or something of that nature.  It'd be awesome over teamspeak.
I don't think it would be to hard to impliment either, there are games with much worse ideas that get made.  As far as being an MMORPG, I'm not sure.  It could work well as a Star Trek standalone title or maybe a Star Wars Galaxy Expansion.
  What does everyone think?

Well, i picked up the guild GDK from Mat.  If anyone needs a guild or just some cool people to hang with while they're on, feel free to send a message to Big Angry Anglo.
