Just had a look through your Sporepedia Profile... Some impressive creatures, especially liked Phatassosaurus, Torqodon and Twitter!

Thank you ^^ I think it's interesting to see what people likes, because most people seem to pick different creatures for their favourites, it's hard to find a pattern and say "this one is good". I had a look at your own creatures as well, there's some really cool ones in between as well
I really wish Maxis would make stats for the creatures on sporepedia soon, so we can see how many positive and negative notes each is getting specifically.

I'm considering starting the first playthrough with only my own and Maxis' creatures to choose from for the game, just to see how weird it feels to be playing a game I've populated myself! Then after 5 minutes when I'm weirded out by it, I'll let it download other people's

I've wanted to make a tripple-trunk creature with eye stalks for a while. The flowers came as I was playing around with it... camouflage on a carebear or teletubbie planet I guess? When I was done with him I realized he sorta looks like Gonzo The Great

Thank you Darcie Yes I have thought about it, I just didn't think there was much interest in it, since many others have done something similar (like the gaming steve sporified thread). I might still do it, it's just very time consuming so it will be a slow process. Each creature doesn't take long as such, but the trick is to make them varied in both appearance and paint job; that's what takes time when it's so many
I've made "S" already, does that help?

If I do end up making them, I'll be sure to post them here

This one is a floater intended to be a fish. It was a bit of an experiment in using the way the CC merges the mesh of intersecting limbs to create a fin/veil like quality. The pictures don't show it well so if you're interested, please have a look at the video. The movement animated surprisingly well and while definately not perfect, I'm pretty pleased with the result for a silly test like this The video actually shows the creature off far better than the pictures, as the "veil" is not apparant in the snaps.
