Catchy title, eh? Hmm.. Ok, so maybe it's a bit overdone. Anyway, that's not important here.
Some of you might remember the Tobblers, others might not.
This game will be likewise, with the exception that this time, I'll stick to only 1 topic.

We, the community, will be creating an empire. a kingdom. a state. an anarchy. a cult. a religion. a truth. a time.
You will, over a certain amount of time, get the chance to vote for an option. That chosen option will change the world of Chronos.
There will be a team of 5 people, whom I shall name my Choicesingers. These 5 people will suggest 1 new option each, for each poll.
That way, there will be a total of 5 options for each poll. these options could be anything from "improve farm efficiency" to "attack the Empire of Zhalateth". Yes, just like in Spore, there will be other cities, and later other nations, based on your earlier choices. There will be no interference from outer space, no other intelligent life forms on the planet. There will be some creatures though, because we will start in the creature stage.

First things first, I would like to fill up the Choicesinger team. If you believe you are qualified to be in it, because you have a good understanding of evolution, or civilisations, or maybe you just have a lot of imagination, then please PM me an application, stating your reason. Don't worry though, I don't expect too many applications.

Secondly, I would like to hear your, the community's, thoughts on this project. What was the best part of the Tobblers? What was poorest? Should we make a map of the planet before we begin? Should I change the project's name while we still have that option? And what kind of creature should we start off with? a human being? A bipedal creature? A flying creature? An underwater creature?A will-o-saur? Whatever you can come up with.

Third, I want to make my apologies to the team of people who I was supposed to make that RP game with, in October 2006. I guess we all just forgot about it. I especially encourage you to applicate.

Yay, I've gotten bored so I'm giving the Gaming Steve another go for a flash project. I do hope that there won't be too many boo's this time though 

I was thinking about creating a sort-of RP city, filled with our creations. Just a usual city with the kind of things you find in human cities, only instead of.. hotdog sellers, you might find Polusian Cherrybuug sellers. So imagine that at the start of the game (or animation) you can choose from a few (few!) different creatures to play with, and then you can check out the city, maybe do some quests. You will find shops, theaters, shopping malls, or anything else we can come up with. Maybe I'll even add in a score system, or money/reputation system, so that you can waste your time in it ^^

What I need from you, is:
1. A outlined pic of your creature/species Preferably with not too many artistic little extra's, and a white background. Sketches are NOT accepted. good example: Sagan 4 Towerplent, bad example: Sagan 4 Lizardworm
2. Some ideas for places and city areas where your creature(s) might show up or not.
3. Some minor dialogue, such as a greeting or a goodbye.
4. A possible name for the city
5. A possible government system (if any), or any other political or ideological ideas you might have.
6. Some names for characters of your species.
7. Some faces for characters of your species.
(note: these things are all optional, you could do just one of them, of even all or none.)

I would like this to be a community thing. Maybe you could get others to draw an outlined picture of your creature, if you are incapable of doing it yourself.
The reason why I want to have an outlined, "clean" picture, is because its easier to work with, and for Spore Battles I had to spend most of my time redrawing contributed art, which was then even frowned upon, because most of them looked pretty bad.

I'm sure that you might have quite a lot of questions, and because I'm not sure if people will even contribute, please post any questions here.

Well now, there are actually a lot of things that you can just find on the internet, but I felt like creating a new topic for this, where we could discuss questions about evolution. If you have any questions, you can ask them in this topic, if you any answers, you can also post them in this topic.

So here are some of mine:

1. There is only 1 creature on earth that can photosynthesise. I would think this is a good thing, because it would allow you to survive by just laying in the sun. How come there is only 1 (very small) creature that can do this?

2. How did a creature ever reach the size of an elephant? I would think that large creatures would just be popular targets for predators, as they get a lot of food out of it.

3. Why did the human lose its tail? I know we didnt really "need" it anymore, but there are more things in our body that we don't need, but still have.

4. Why are most carnivores smaller then herbivores? (might be bs though)
