Nothing surprising there. I think what has mostly changed is my willingness to admit that if the world would follow God's laws then it would be a better place. I am no longer ashamed to to say that.

No wearing two different fabrics in the same shirt. No letting two different kinds of cattle graze together, or have the same crops in the same field. If you curse your mother or father, you must die. If you cheat on your spouse, both you and your lover must die. Sleep with a woman on her period, guess what? Death! You aren't allowed into heaven if you're blind, lame, have a flat nose, broken hands or feet, a dwarf, castrated, humpbacked... Or have scurvy. If any of your family members even suggest switching religion, kill them. In fact, just go ahead and kill anyone of a different religion. Shaving is a no-no. If a wife attempts to help her husband out of a fight, cut her hand off.

I'm pretty much assuming he's Christian. If not, sorry about assuming but your religion is still silly.

You Scored as Utilitarianism

Your life is guided by the principles of Utilitarianism: You seek the greatest good for the greatest number.

“The said truth is that it is the greatest happiness of the greatest number that is the measure of right and wrong.”
--Jeremy Bentham

“Whenever the general disposition of the people is such, that each individual regards those only of his interests which are selfish, and does not dwell on, or concern himself for, his share of the general interest, in such a state of things, good government is impossible.” <br>--John Stuart Mill

Utilitarianism
 80%
Hedonism
 75%
Existentialism
 70%
Justice (Fairness)
 65%
Kantianism
 55%
Apathy
 50%
Strong Egoism
 45%
Nihilism
 30%
Divine Command
 0%

Yeah that's me. Trying to make the most people happy.

So, 2 and a quater years have not changed me much.

Utilitarianism    75% -10%
Hedonism    70% -5%
Existentialism    65% +5%
Kantianism    60% +5%
Justice (Fairness)    55% -10%
Nihilism    50% +20%
Apathy    50% 0%
Strong Egoism    35% -10%
Divine Command    0% 0%

Is Kishmond part of some weird cult or did I miss something?

No, that's just the laws in the Old Testament. He missed out that if anybody in a town preaches a different religion, one should burn that town to the ground.

Lots of people's religions say silly things.
Lots of people have different ways of interpreting those things, or the purpose of those things being in there, or about a million other variables pertaining to the history, intent, editing, authorship and content of religious texts...
Just saying, let's not assume what anyone believes about anything until they say so themselves as clearly as they possibly can.
In any case, respect and tolerance and such.
What meme is relevant right now? Look, just imagine I'm riffing on that. Updating signatures is exhausting.

You're talking about Jewish traditions. And even then Jews today don't do most of that.

Next time you try to berate somebody at least get your facts straight.
Yeah, [Kishmond] came back from Africa, but the ponies have him now.

Point is, they're still technically God's laws... Well, a God's law. The world is a better place because people don't follow those laws.

But whatever. Your aforementioned belief in religious laws is still a less flawed belief than religion in the first place. ;D

Religious rules, at least most of the modern ones (Not counting extremists) help in forming a cohesive society.

Religion is fine. It just comes with the unfortunate stigma of having to defend it, usually. Plus there are the lunatics that take it too far, and make their religious group look bad. (See aforementioned extremists)

I just don't like religion because it feels like people burrowing their heads in the sand...

I try not to say such on here though, but the topic was brought up.
