Podcasts / Re: Woah. Steve up there with the Companies in popularity!

I enjoy IGN's podcasts even if some of them are not that informative, but their videocast is the pits.

Gaming steve and 1up is all you need...

Ugh, IGN and Gamespot have no place up there with Gaming Steve.

However, i do actually like 1up's podcast. There CGW, 1upYours, EGM Live, and RadiOPM.

They come across as gaming enthusiast and fans, rather than canned personalitys. There the only podcasts i listen too, besides gaming steve.

EA didnt  make BF2, DICE did. Sure, EA may have pushed for the release date a little, but most publishers do. I doubt EA had a role in the creative and development of BF2. They werent the ones that made the aiming all screwy, DICE did.

Seth Luisi.

He was the producer of Socom1/2/3, one of the most popular online games...ever. (Yes, ever, and thats a console online game! A PS2 online game for that matter!)

Who cares, you guys can knock EA all you want, but they do make some quality games.

And MMO's are a tricky thing to do. The fact that EA tried all of those show that they are willing to be committed to one. Earth and beyond was a good concept, but it had LESS users playing then The Matrix Online...that says something right there.

You forgot one thing: Mods.

Mods make up for the lack of originality out there. Lets see people try to mod a movie.

Im sure 10 years ago you guys would have all went "4GB? Thats one hell of a game!"

Honestly, i see no reason why we cant get up to the 30-50GB range within the next 10 years or so. With HD content like Cutscenes etc...

I also have The First Decade, and with the most up to date patch installed for it (1.02 i think) it works great.

There also working on 1.03, which will include native online support for RA1 and TD!!

I bought the game yesterday, and i must say, its godlike.

Think advance wars, but more complex (But not too complex). It strikes a good balance between easy to  learn and deep strategies.

Also, the Map editor is pretty cool, you can upload your maps to there servers for other people to download and play on. It works as-advertised, hassle free.

Online is lag-free, and lots of fun. Easy to set up and get into a game, tons of options to customize.

My only gripe is the sometimes wussy AI, at times it seems like the AI rather make its units fall back and retreat instead of attacking you, even when they have an advantage. Then again, Online is where its at...

Anybody whos even remotely a strategy fan and owns a PSP needs to buy this game.

Command and Conuqer (Tiberian Sun, RA2/YR) are excellent RTS's, StarCraft (the perfect balance of it almost makes it like a virtual Chess game) and TA (Though i never liked it)

It looks pretty intresting, I'm kinda bummed about it being only 2 players multiplayer though.  I'll wait for more reviews to pick it up ;)

Im not, waiting for 3 other players to move in Advance wars is painfull.

Anyways, defintely looking foward to this one, gonna pick it up one release date (Like 5/23 i believe)

More people actually wanted C&C3 too continue the Tiberium storyline rather than the Red Alert storyline (At least inside the community).
