Ovi and I played a game on Sunday and he kicked my butt with his cultural victory. I really hate that victory condition. Especially when I tired so hard to get the UN and Apollo Program. Oh well guess next time i will just have to beat him to cultural victory. ;) Nice game Ovi. Thanks for playing.

I actually built the Apollo program before you did. :P But i figured that you wouldn't be able to build your space sip before my culture turned over, so I went for it.

Ovi and I are ready to play another game, we'll start in an hour (11:00 am) or sooner if people play, does anyone want to join? I'll pm you my IP.

edit: Game is starting now. If you played with us before, same IP. I'll keep checking for a bit if anyone wants to hot seat in.

I'm really liking these games but we've never actually finished one. What i was thinking is that the next game we play should be started later, such as the Medieval or Renaissance era, instead of the Ancient one. Or we could do the advanced start and build small empires from the beginning. Or we could do both.

Either way i think we need to jumpstart our games a bit in order to actually get somewhere since we dont seem to be picking up our old games.

Advanced start in medieval seems fine.

Advanced start is fun, I wouldn't mind no war. That takes up so much time and just try to win by other means.

We had a rough start on our game, Ovi, Brandon and I had trouble getting the game started due to connection problems but we finally got  going. Then Josasa joined us and then Celdur. After awhile Celdur left and during a break, Ovi had to leave. When he left it said Brandon left too so when Josasa got back, we both decided to stop. Too many thunderstorms in the area to get good connections I guess.

Advanced start is fine with me.

No war would be interesting too. I wouldn't mind that. Everything but domination and conquest then. Now, no one would win by diplomatic unless people were forced to vote. Should we make that a rule? Nevermind, let's worry about that when the game comes up.

I was kicked from the game during that break and couldn't get back on. It said something about my registry information.

*shrugs*

I recently got Civ Multiplayer working (apparently my firewall blocked it without notifying me), so would it be alright if I joined in a game sometime?

Setting a major game with, like, eight or nine players would be the best. If we could finish it.

Not anymore these days, I was part of our first online civ4 experiment though.
