In the comic con videos, part 4, at about 8 minutes in, Will says they have about ten editors, as opposed to the 8 he said earlier, and the 18 Vu said before. 

So I'm guessing since they're flip flopping all over the place, we can only wait and see when the game comes out.  It probably is just in what you consider an editor.

Well, are the 3 editors per each class of vehicle (religious, war, economic) REALLY separate editors? I mean, for the most, part, they all share the same parts, give or take a few. Land, water, air, yea, but I just can see calling those other ones separate really.

We've seen it in the videos.  You move your mouse over "vehicle", and then all the subeditors appear.  We know what editors there are, we're just arguing over whether or not a subeditor is an editor.

Personally I think the main editors are the only ones to be counted.
The subs are just more detailed smaller editors.

Strait up exactly the number of confermed editors = 18.  Also, these have different parts so they aren't really "sub" editors.  Yes, there is overlap, but they do look to have diff parts lists, specifically the details, effects and movements for the vehicles and the effects and details for the buildings.

There is also the possibility of a city stage and space stage outfit editor, the alien that Will met in the Kotaku video of the space phase looked like it was wearing a top hat.

The alien that he was playing in that video looked like it might have had some sort of outfit on as some parts were missing from the hologram. We didn't get a very clear look though.

I think if you have a look at this picture, it shows the creature still has it's tribal stage clothing on. Granted its the civilization phase theyre playing, but I though it was worth a mention anyway.

yea, I think the one we saw in the video still had tribal clothing on. It may also be that they simply didn't have it activated for the demos. or they may have taken those two out completely.

The space stage outfit editor was more of a rumor I think because in that primas guide, there was a creature with space stage clothing. AFAIK, we don't have any evidence to back it up from videos or pics. Unless theres some data hidden in the CC.

Vu calls it an "Accessories Editor" meaning that it's possible all stages share the same clothing editor (meaning that people in space stage can wear tribal clothing) but that they're unlocked as you progress. Note that there were blank slots (0:57 in video 2) where other articles of clothing would go.
