Lmao :D

I got that line from the James Bond movie, The Man with the Golden Gun.

Scaramanga (played by Christopher "Saruman" Lee): "Like every great artist, I want to create an indisputable masterpiece at least once in a lifetime; the death of 007 mono a mono will be mine!"

Shut the *Bleep* Up

It was nice, even interesting on occasions...
But it doesnt sound like a showed anything new.
I think this is all he has... i think they only have the creature and space stages prepared...
I dont think he will intentionally hold out on footage of the others stages, unless they dont exist yet

Thinking over what Urboros said, it's possible that in the demo Will had his UFO in "god-mode" so it was indestructible. Sure, he was dodging attacks, but there didn't seem to be any damage or any kind of adverse effect on his UFO when it was hit. It would make you think twice about attacking if your UFO could get crippled and then destroyed when it was hit.

Actually, it did take damage.
if you take a look at the more detailed videos, you can see a bar next to the wrench icon on the bottom left, and it goes down as the UFO gets damaged.

I really hope they will post the technology tree.
I think it will give us a sense of the gamplay.

Look, i am not denying the possibility of a conscious god existing,
I'm just saying there is no proof at all.
i asked a Rabbi once, can god make a stone he cannot lift?
if not, then he is not all-mighty
if so, again, not all-mighty.

He said that he cannot answer that question because it is beyond his wisdom, that god has some magical plan and that i am a rude little man to question god and that i should be raped by a pack of bunnies (not exactly but more or less).
long story short, he avoided my question, and tried to explain belief with more belief...
Give me one proof of gods existence, then we will have something to talk about.

I don't know if anyone's yet mentioned that the translation of the Hebrew word for "day", as in Genesis, could have also been translated as "epoch", or "age". Something to think about.

Look, i happen to know Hebrew, and "day" does not translate to "age".
Further more, in Hebrew the book of genesis says: "Let there be light, let there be darkness, day one (or two or three and so on...)
these cycles clearly represent day and night...

But let me run another theory by you:
it says in the beginning of Genesis that there was chaos before god allegedly created the earth.
and we know that dinosaurs existed. and that they became extinct by a meteor that left the earth in chaos.
perhaps that is the same chaos in question.
It still doesn't solve the question, but it may lift this obstacle of the existence of pre-historic life as a contradiction to gods existence.

You guys are all missing the point.
Everyone, even evolutionists, believe in god. the difference is that they have diffrent interpretations for who or what, god is.
there is a very famous saying that goes like this: "God, meaning Nature", or god is nature.
I am an evolutionist and i believe that nature and evolution were responsible for our development.
you can call it "Meteor-AminoAcids-RNA-DNA-Life" or "DevineCreation-Life", but we are still referring to the same process.
What really bugs me, is that the church and other religious authorities, seized a monopoly on divinity, while it should be open for all to interperate.

God IS Nature, its about time we all understand it.

Actually, it could be kinda cool if, say, in the civ stage, you can use the amoeba editor to design bio-weapons, and later test it on kidnapped or abducted aliens.
Starting plagues and ammuning your own will be a new way of eradicating populations and/or taking planets.

oh and another thing, i really hope that during the civ stage we will be able to advance scientifically.
it will be quite dull if all we have is one technological era before the space age.
