Console Games / Re: Wii good name or bad?

Didn't like it at first, think it's fine now. Over time it'll just be accepted like any other console/product/company name.
Doubt i'd call it a Wii much when I own one though, I'll probably just end up calling it the 'Nintendo'.

Oh man, I was addicted to this game. I still play it now and again actually, whenever i'm fed up with my other games.

Whatever happens, I'm sure they'll keep 'Halo' somewhere in the name. Seeing as the game is in the 'Halo universe', they'll probably keep it, even if there is no ring this time.

...I wonder if they will have the radio static going.
No doubt, infact you hear the static on the car radio in the trailer. There's bound to be more of it.

Personally i'd rather a 'not so well known actor' to be casted as the Master Chief... or even better, just stick some guy in the MC suit, never see his face, and get Steve Downes to do the voice over. ;)

I only played the demo of the first game many years ago, and it scared the **** outta me! Well... I was 10 at the time. :D

It looks like a movie I could enjoy, I just hope it doesn't turn out to be another crappy horror movie or another game-to-movie flop.

I won't be getting this, The Movies got a little boring after a while... plus all those sets took way too much room, damn those SETS!  :D

No game guide for me. I'll be doing it all myself first time round, with possible help from GameFAQs in extreme cases. ;)

My friend who plays FFXI tells me the economy has become rediculous. When I used to play about a year ago things were pretty fine, however over the Xmas holidays there was apparently a huge sale for gil (Final Fantasy money) - people were starting to throw money away since they had so much, spending much more than the value of an item, causing auction house inflations.

Square-Enix infact took action and terminated hundreds of accounts, removed over 300 billion gil, and have limited the amount of gil to be send to eachother.

Things got pretty serious.
