I'm glad someone made a topic about this as I've been wondering about it myself.  I have to confess that I'm a bit of an anime freak.  Anime (to me) has this tendency to take things that by "normal" standards would be completely absurd and somehow make them cool.   Asymmetry is one of these things, especially when it comes to mecha and other robot-y characters.  Now, I'm not planning on making some girly, spiky-haired creature with a buster sword, but I did have an idea for a creature with one really big beefy arm and the rest (two or more arms... Not sure, yet) much smaller.  This was in no small part influenced by Duo from the Mega Man games series, even though I really dislike the character. XD

Anyways, this'd be a very cool feature that would add an infinity of extra possibilities.  It could make the computer have difficulty animating your creature, but it wouldn't be much worse than the problems already inherent in the system, such as making a square creature with no legs or a fat-bodied creature with legs too short to reach the ground.
