In creature phase you can have up to 3 others follow you, depending on how far you into the game.  Socialize with them to get them to join you.

Space is the only other phase that allows you to have followers, again you can have up to 5 depending on how far you are.  Allies will give you one of their spaceships as a follower when they ally with you, and every time you ask for a new one after that.

In space, Complete enough missions for them until you get a green face for relations. When you've done that, ask them for a ship.

Unfortunatelly, this forum takes a lot of time to get rid of trolls. We've had them in the past and people were even taking bets on how long it would take for them to get banned just because it takes soooo long for Mods to get rid of them... (I presume that only Gamingsteve can ban?)

Certainly that is not the case. When was the last time we really REALLY had a troll? Seriously?

You guys (I'm not calling names) remind me of the witch hunts. Lynching everyone you presume to be a troll. Particularly here in Spore General. Don't confront them like what Grangan did, use the report button and let the mods deal with it. If you haven't noticed we took care of more important things like the spam bot raids we've had recently. And those get banned almost immediately. And quite honestly I see no reason to ban jannedansk since he has broken none of the rules. We carefully handle each issue per basis.

And to answer your question Dark: GS, LadyM, Ovi, and Sam can ban any member. As for me, Cobra, and Doomsday we can change your password if we needed to.

Just answer the question kindly. If he begins to exploit your attention, we'll deal with it.

HW wasn't a troll, just a bad poster. We regularly PMed him and we even documented him in the admin board. We try to help people like HW to improve before we ban them. He made sincere efforts and made a few good results but failed to meet them ultimately. We'd much rather attempt to help such ones to change than ban them.

So before this topic goes too far off topic let's end it here. We mods know whats going on. Be familiar with the rules and maintain a helpful disposition before accusing someone.
