Spore: General / Creature Editor Video - spotted something odd
« on: March 23, 2006, 12:43:56 pm »
When Will loads the several creatures to show off to the audience, he has them walk around. To do this, it seems that there is a little ball underneath the creature that his mouse pointer moves around which the creature follows. However, the Willosaur is missing this ball.  Any thoughts?

I would imagine that someone had to have downloaded it, so I'm wondering if it's out there yet.

Spore: General / Spore Environments Possibly Lacking...
« on: March 19, 2006, 06:57:46 pm »

Hi, I'm a new member as of today, however I have followed this forum for about a week now (my spring break, as a matter of fact), so I know what's up and what's down about this game so far.

Okay, now to my question:

I recently started looking at some footage of the new Elder Scrolls game coming out, and the environments just blew me away.  Then I did a "no-no" and compared Spore's look to that of Oblivion's and got a little discouraged.  Oblivion has such a lush, interactive, personal environment that players can actually lose themselves in, whereas Spore's environments seem too toyish to actually have any large effect.  Does this look like a downside to anyone else?
