Everything Else / Re: St Jude PLAYLIVE donation campaign
« on: May 29, 2019, 07:02:48 am »
Hi friends.. I'm in my last 3 days of this years StJudePLAYLIVE campaign and will be streaming all day. If you want to help support St Jude Children's Hospital and donate to my campaign you can follow this link here: https://tiltify.com/@ladym/ladympire-2019

St Jude provides medical treatment for children with cancer with no additional cost to the family, the success rate is about 80% and they research and share the information with the world for free. I've had the honor of attending the summit there for 3 years and they are doing great work.

Stream will be at ladym.tv

xx

I’m not dead either!

We're not dead!

Yeah!

I mean, I thought I was dead earlier.
I'm not, thankfully, I found out.
Ran some tests and am still currently pretty alive.
Real touch and go there for a while though.
Some intense movie of the week type stuff.

Hi

4

LadyM, I miss you. Thank you for setting me straight and teaching me how to behave on the internet in a period of my life where friends were foreign.

Thank you and I miss you too.

This thread brought tears to my eyes. I haven't been here as much, life moved on for me in many ways. It's been 12 yrs since I found this place and I watched everyone grow up. I made many good friends, met some in person and lost some along the way.

Since I've been here my kids got married, I became a grandmother, I got divorced, I lost my ex to cancer, I had cancer, my sister has cancer, I moved three times and I'm still single and sometimes lonely.

I wonder how different my life would have been if I'd never found this place. This led me to all the adventures that have happened since and I guess that's all because of Spore.

I love all of you and I'm so proud of you all. I love that you're all still here, you still connect and still talk to each other.

Keep it up  :-*

Everything Else / St Jude PLAYLIVE donation campaign

Hi friends..long time

I wanted to let you know that I'm doing a fundraiser this month for St Jude Childrens Hospital through the #StJudePLAYLIVE campaign. I got to visit St Jude as an invited guest last month for a summit and the work they do is amazing. It's a real place that does research and treatment for kids with cancer from all over the world. The families don't have to pay for anything, just focus on getting their child well. Research is shared with the world.

On a personal note my sister was diagnosed with brain cancer in Oct and I've been helping her in Texas. Two surgeries and lots of rehab. Kids get this too so may St Jude can help find a cure. That's my hope.

Won't play on my computer, got the same error you did. Loaded on the laptop but it stuck going through the many colored space/stars thing.

My gaming rig is still out for repair so I may have to refund and try again when it's on sale.

Update: One problem is that the disc usage was maxed out so I had to upgrade and BUY more space. I no longer want to host and pay for this project so after this problem is fixed I'll be moving ownership over to Hydro.

I put a support ticket in to the host and hopefully they can identify the problem. Maybe it'll take some time for the disc space to be recognized. It's hard to believe this is still going for almost 10 years.

He's a trending topic on twitter, there are a lot of upset people over this one. He better get security even, I've heard death threats. Big game hunting shouldn't even be happening anymore, those animals need to be conserved. What a poor choice, no one should be allowed to hunt any big game for fun and sport.

This month was my 10 year anniversary. That's amazing to me. Oh the memories of 10 years ago and discovering this place. The life changes that have happened since I've joined. I haven't been as active, I've been involved in other things but I love coming back and catching up. You guys are the awesome!

So I've never actually answered this question and I'm finally comfortable doing so. Some of you already know because you've met me. I am 56. I have two grown sons and 5 grandkids. I feel like I've been everyone's mom, been here for 9 years and counting.

If you ever feel old, remember me and how even when you're in your 40's and 50's you can still game and have fun.
